   My husband and I dined here before attending a performance of the ESO at the Winspear. It was dining week in Edmonton and we had the rouladen meal. So so tasty! Delicious food, attentive service, cool building, great location!

   Food, service and ambience were fantastic! And it’s carpeted (which is a rarity in Edmonton) so it is elegant and not too noisy. The location is a short walk to attractions, so worth going a block out of your way. And the dessert was amazing and the portions were large!

   The dill pickle soup is a treasure. I have tried many, many recipes to duplicate theirs and none come close. Everything was stunningly presented and every so tasty. A favorite place to return again and again.

   The downtown location of Continental Treat is elegant, grand and comfortable. These people know what they are doing. It is quiet with high ceilings making it a nice spot for conversation. The quality of the food is incredible; all homemade from scratch which is unusual in the restaurant industry. It is totally gluten-free if you require that diet, but you would never know it if you don't. The Tiramisu is out of this world, light and delicious; a nice end to dinner and can be shared. Thank you Continental Treat, your food, staff and european service is second to none. We will be back soon for business meetings and with our friends for a great evening out!

   A wonderful meal with friends. The food was great. Our server was so helpful and attentive. We could easily converse with our dinner mates as the seating was private. A truly enjoyable dinner experience!

    I was in gluten-free heaven. Gourmet pirogies were a fantastic treat as quality GF pirogies are are hard to find. GF fresh bread with fabulous soup beforehand was also excellent. The service was top notch and the atmosphere was tranquil, old world elegance yet cosy. I don't like noisy restaurants so the quiet, intimate atmosphere was wonderful.

    We are so happy that a second location of Continental Treat is now in the Theatre District! We had a fantastic meals - rouladen, schnitzel, liver & sausage. Our server got us out in plenty of time to catch our show at the Citadel. We look forward to our next visit (which is already booked for next week)!

    We were a party of four and we all very much enjoyed the variety of dishes ordered. We even sampled the dill pickle soup which we thought was fantastic. Portions were large. Service was professional. Atmosphere was very nice. Walking distance to the Winspear Centre. We will definitely return!

    Dining and citadel show. My husband had the goulash dish and said that the spices , I think the paprika was too intense and the noodles (Spaatz) were a bit mushy. I enjoyed my dinner. We both enjoyed the pickled soup. May return, in the future .

    Everything was so delicious! I am celiac so I really appreciate a place that is dedicated to gluten-free dishes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning :)

    Went in for Valentine's Day dinner with my girlfriend (who has celiacs). The food was amazing, waiter was attentive, personable and made the evening better and the restaurant looked great. But the best part was watching my girlfriend enjoy one of her favorite meals knowing 100% she was safe from any allergens. Thank you for existing as a fine dining, gluten-free restaurant and thank you for an awesome evening!

    On our way to the evening show at the Citadel Theatre. An easy walk. Welcomed by the owner. Beautiful ambience. Dark, cozy. We were ticked into a both so fairly privately. Service was impeccable. One if the best gin martinis I’ve had in a long time. Everything is gluten free. An extensive menu. Absolutely delicious. We will be back. Highly recommend.

    Erica saw us cold outside; she opened the doors to let us be warm. We were taken to our table. My friend and I requested hot lemon water, which was brought to us in tea pots. We were given time to look over the menu. Erica was attentive to us ensuring each dish she brought was to our satisfaction. We were allowed to stay awhile as my friend and were catching up on the happenings of our life. Service is expedient, food is hot and plated nicely. Many options in the various categories of food offered. Nice after dinner caffe latte. Thank you. We shall return.

    Amazing!! I have always loved the Continental treat on whyte Ave and was excited to take my family out to the downtown location to celebrate my 5 year business anniversary. The food was incredible as was the service. I would 100% recommend for any occasion. There were 10 of us and everyone enjoyed it as much as I did.

    Continental treat is my wife’s and I favourite restaurant in Edmonton hands down. Both of us are celiac, so it makes it incredibly easy for us, as well the food is unbelievably good!

    I love this location on Jasper. It has great ambience with plenty of parking nearby. The food here is always consistently excellent. The entire restaurant is gluten free, and every menu I have had there is delicious. If you haven’t gone, please give it a try!

    Took our family here for a birthday celebration. We came on a Tuesday night that ended up being a very quiet night for the restaurant. I hope more people come to this restaurant and keep it around. The restaurant had a schnitzel special that came with a choice of one of three soups. The schnitzel was a choice of either pork or chicken. Crispy, yet not too dry. The pan fried potatoes are some of the best I’ve eaten (I love potatoes). I recommend their mushroom sauce over their dill sauce. We also tried their duck leg, which was very tender. The soups were quite delicious. We finished off sharing a dessert Tiramisu, which was fabulous. Will definitely come back again another time to try their other menu items. Overall, highly recommend this restaurant. In particular, the downtown location ambiance is fantastic, as it was the old Hardware Grill location. Fancy restaurant with reasonable pricing, compared to more expensive establishments around town.

    Had the chicken schnitzel which came with some delicious creamy mashed potatoes, beats, carrots and cucumbers. The star of the meal was the cup of dill soup it came with. Amazing server, excellent location very fancy and suitable for a business lunch or dinner date! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

    Overall it was good, not the same experience downtown as the Strathcona location. We prefer the Strathcona location for ambiance. The server was unaware of the special that was advertised and what drew us to visit the downtown location for the first time. We think the portions were smaller at the downtown location , not the schnitzel, but the vegetables. It also seemed that the pickle soup was thinner , not as good as I'm used to. Overall it was ok but when I want Schnitzel I'll go to the original location.

    First time dining at their new location. I had beet soup, mushroom and sauerkraut dumplings and apple strudel. All were excellent!! Service attentive but not intrusive. Overall a very positive experience.
