Welcome to Contrast Brasserie. With a sharp focus on Scottish, locally sourced produce, we invite you to savour the tastes of the season with a touch of Pan-Asian flair.

From succulent rare breed pork, prime dry-aged beef to market fresh fruit and vegetables we try to stay true to our Scottish roots, creating simple dishes built around one great ingredient. Located just a short walk from the City Centre of Inverness, take a wander along the tree lined river where a warm welcome awaits!

    Lekker gegeten. Goed menu. Wel een duur restaurant. Het personeel mag iets rustiger bewegen tussen iedereen door. Ze lopen vrij hard. Restaurant zag er mooi uit van binnen. De desserts waren fantastisch.

    Disappointed with the food. Been lots of times previously as always impressed. The steak was not good. Will put it down as a one off and will be back but would expect it to be better

    Fantastic staff, food first class. Only comment is the restaurant is a bit tired as are the tables and chairs. It’s a comment but that did not take away from the excellent service and food.

    We stayed at the Glenmoriston Townhouse and chose to eat in at the Brasserie. What an excellent decision! Views of the River Ness, soft lighting and excellent drinks led into an exceptional dinner. The service was wonderful and the food was even better. Contrast Brasserie is a hidden gem in Edinburgh’s cuisine.

    Confusing menu with promoting Asian cuisine but serving with potatoes rather than options of rice or noodles. Warmed sushi rolls which were not the usual tasting sushi I am used to.
