   In spite of the fact that you were a little short of help because some waiters call in sick, the waiters and waitress on duty were busily hopping from table to table to provide good service. We plan to come again.

   Very nice ambience. Excellent food and service. A little expensive, but okay to splurge every now and then. Valet service makes parking easy, but please tip the valet.

   Excellent location right on the water; amazing views and the best people watching ever. Food and cocktails were awesome. We didn’t quite realize how insanely busy Point Ruston is (we were also there on the first really nice weekend of the year). Two issues for dropping a star: 1) a “Northwest Kitchen” but no iconically Northwest dishes… no salmon? Really? 2) parking was unclear and difficult … the Point Rusten parking garage was crazy busy but we got lucky and found a spot… poor cell service and the ParkMobile site was down so paying for parking was stressful. Some subsequent research indicated Point Rusten restaurants/ businesses will validate your parking. I asked at the table, but Copper & Salt doesn’t validate… their solution is free valet parking. This wasn’t clear upfront and I didn’t want to go retrieve the car from the garage just to valet park at the restaurant (within the Silvercloud Hotel). Lesson learned; but an email/ text from the restaurant describing the parking situation and free valet parking would have been appreciated!

   Food is always excellent and you cannot find a great view while dining at Copper & Salt. I had brought family and friends a number of times now and my only feedback is the portions are getting smaller.

    We had a relaxing lunch sitting by the floor to ceiling windows with a 270 degree view. Even though it was cloudy it was a pleasant atmosphere. Staff were welcoming and informative. Food was delicious with a good variety. A favorite place to go in Tacoma.

    I don't like giving bad reviews but this was earned. First, the service was SO slow. Took 15 minutes for the waiter to get to our table. Then we ordered food. Our appetizer came out quickly but the entrée took forever. We had a pasta and the ribeye. The pasta was decent but the ribeye tasted like they rubbed it in the wood ash right before serving. Asked for the manager (who we could see) and it took him 15 minutes just to get to the table. To too it all off, we could hardly see our waiter. They must have had a second job somewhere else. We will not be going back, that's for sure.

    Drinks and apps were good but a little light on the cristinis. We were brought our apps but not plates. Waited a long time before our server asked for our dinner order and water refill. My fish came to me burnt and it wasn't supposed to be blackened. Paid our bill but our server forgot she had our credit card and we were ready to go. The server to the adjacent table gave two already intoxicated women two espresso martinis to go upon their request and promise that they were taking an Uber. This was our second time here and I am not sure we will come back.

    Upscale restaurant in the Silver Cloud Hotel at Point Ruston. Nicely presented and well prepared food in a quiet well spaced room. Nice views of the lights of Tacoma. We will definitely go back. It would be a good place to bring out of town guests. It would be good for lunch or brunch when we can see the great views of the city and maybe of Mount Rainier and walk along the shore afterwards.

    Had a lovely dinner with my husband. The pappardelle pasta is really amazing as is the milk and honey cocktail. We both very much enjoyed the toffee pudding for dessert. My favorite though was the “speck” appetizer. The bread they used was wonderfully toasted on the outside but chewy in the middle so they didn’t crumble and fall apart. The staff there was incredibly friendly and attentive.

    I don’t have any complaints about Copper and Salt other than the wait staff needs to account for the noise level of the room when talking to the patrons. The food was fine, my wife’s cocktail was fine, the menu was interesting but for the $ we spent I want better than fine. There was nothing wrong, but nothing stood out either. It was a completely forgettable meal.

    I ordered the Italian Sammy. It was supposed to have three meats, mortadella, capicola and salami per menu. It was missing mortadella and salami. It had one slice of capicola. It was also supposed to have giardiniera per menu but it had arugula and roasted tomatoes instead. The bread is delicious. It would of been a delicious sandwich if it had all the right ingredients as the menu states. I know I should of brought up the mistakes with the server but I was in a hurry and didn’t want to wait to get a new sandwich. Next time if I go back and my order is wrong I will say something because I would hate a restaurant with such beautiful views fall short because they are not putting the plate together right. Some in the kitchen didn’t know the menu for brunch service

    The ambiance and service in the bar- outstanding; as were the cocktails. Our server in the dining area took 20 minutes once seated to acknowledge us. The Pasta, was 5 star; the steak and potatoes were not. I regret not also ordering pasta- it may easily be best in the area. The choice of such a sweet glaze on the steak surprised me- not that it was sweet, but so sweet. The dessert was well executed but overwhelming sweet again. Would I go there again, absolutely. Next time I’d order the pasta. It’s not far from where it seems like they want to be. So I’ll definitely try again in a few weeks.

    This was my 2nd time to Copper and Salt. The first time was underwhelming, both the food and service were lacking. We had a better experience with dinner last night but still a few opportunities. The pluses: Complimentary valet when dining at C&S. Friendly server who had helpful recommendations. The minuses: Ambience is cold and uninviting. The space is awkward and open but again too cold and dark. Value for dishes is pricey. Our appetizer didn't come with enough bread (3 pieces) with an abundance of speck and ricotta. Side dish came out 10 minutes after entrees, our server stated the chef felt they were undercooked, but when they arrived they were overcooked and soggy. If you want to charge premium prices, I expect a premium meal. Unfortunately we won't be back, there are plenty of other local restaurants that have the same price point but surpass and exceed expectations in these areas.

    I love the look of the hotel and Copper. Unfortunately I’ve never had an excellent meal. But I keep coming back and hoping for improvement. Our server was excellent and I appreciate the valet parking. The clam chowder had a nice taste but was stone cold so not good. It was taken off our bill but I was hosting a friends first visit and was hoping for better. The BLT was “ok”. I like the tenderness of the bread.

    Best eggs Benedict! I’ve had their bloody Mary’s another time I ate there; if you like spicy, they are good. Fresh berries were great. Good ambiance. Great views of the Sound. It was about 3/4 full when we we there. But not too loud Great service. I met good friends for a long breakfast. Our server was patient and friendly and never made us feel rushed Free valet parking if you eat at the restaurant. Note that they don’t validate parking in the main public parking garage

    The staff here are top notch. Friendly, attentive, witty and professional. We were seated in a corner table and history has shown us that this is usually the forgotten area in restaurants we have been to. Not here, our waitress made sure to check on us, made great recommendations and was patient and charming with answering our questions. Food is really good as well. We got the ribeye, some appetizers, a few cocktails and some dessert because a skinny waistline is a wasted one. All were delicious!

    Charisma was a great server! The Lavender 76 cocktail was delicious! And the local beer selection is good. The red snapper my husband ordered was good but my halibut was over cooked. On that point, I do expect better from a Northwest Cuisine restaurant

    We enjoyed the fried oysters appetizer and the red snapper and ribeye entrees. These were each very good, nicely prepared, though the ribeye came with a ridiculous quantity of potatoes. Service was excellent and the restaurant is very attractive. My second visit.

    Very friendly and efficient server. Excellent food, presented beautifully. Loved the wine list that was Washington forward. Not our first visit and definitely not our last! Great date night followed by a movie a short walk away.

    I was highly disappointed in the lamb chops as I requested well done and they were medium well, the lamb wasn’t really flavorful, and the sweet potato purée was bland. My partners steak and potatoes were delicious and the cocktails were very great. Service and ambiance was great as well! I’d return for happy hour drinks only.

    Abysmal service, which was entirely clueless and very officious ("Our dinner is being plated up now"). Food was adequately prepared, with little or no imagination or subtlety. For the price, not up to the expected standard. Don't waste your time.

    Beautiful views and decor. Very small very pricey menu $20.00 for a burger and fries!! Meat was very bland. Great service, not busy at all! Staff was very chatty and loud amongst themselves, don’t need to hear their conversations. Don’t think we’ll go back at those prices and selection.

    Our dinner was, as always, spectacular! The muscles are a must have, I think of the often. My ribeye was perfectly prepared and delicious and my husband's Halibut with risotto, a special that night, was wonderful. The cocktail menu has so many great options, we've tried almost all of them and have enjoyed every one. I am looking forward to seeing what new items will appear on the menu come spring. It will be great to see some new sides. 5 stars- a must try!
