Coquine offered its last dinner service on Saturday, October 24th and is ushering in a new era. Stay tuned for more information regarding Katy Jane's, opening in the same space in November 2026. At Katy Jane's, Coquine chef Katy Jane Millard will continue her legacy of cooking seasonal, thoughtful food.

Van de OpenTable-redactie: Eight-time JBF nominee Katy Millard's farm-to-table restaurant in Southeast Portland's Mt. Tabor has the kind of menu that pulls people back season after season. The roasted chicken is a signature, the milk-braised pork sugo returns every year by popular demand, and the chocolate chip cookie, voted best in Portland by Portland Monthly, has developed a following of its own. Hard-to-find Cameron Ramato Rosé and the Dorothy in Waikiki, a strawberry Mai Tai riff, round out a drinks list worth exploring. Intimate and casual, Coquine earned a James Beard nomination for Outstanding Restaurant in 2025 and has felt like one for much longer.

We had a fantastic dinner at Coquine, our first time there. Service and food was excellent. The combination of herbs and sauces created by the chef complimented each course perfectly. Portions are appropriate for a fine dining establishment. Our server was attentive, enthusiastic and gave wonderful recommendations. We ordered off the menu instead of partaking in the prix fixe menu and every one of our selections from the oysters to the salad to the main course and dessert was outstanding! We will definitely be back.

Sat at the bar for the prie fix dinner plus wine pairings. While the food was good, the meal took forever and service was totally lacking. We had 5 different servers at various points sitting at the bar which may explain the long drought between courses. Is this the most expensive fine dining in PDX? I thought it was really overpriced imho compared to many of the other great restaurants in PDX, particularly with respect to the wines. And frankly, my pet peave is the restaurant trend where the bartender takes 5 minutes to weigh on a scale an exact 2.00 oz pour for each glass. It just is really really tacky. We have been to Coquine several times, but not in a couple of years. Certainly not as enjoyable as I remember.

We did the tasting menu with wine pairings at Coquine, and it was superb, one of the best meals we've ever had, anywhere. Coquine is pricy, but we thought it was worth every single penny.

Our dining experience was awesome! The food was outstanding & the service was top notch! It’s the perfect place for a special date night & they were easily able to accommodate food allergies (no dairy or gluten). We highly recommend Coquine!

Wow, what a absolutely delightful dining experience! The meal was exquisite, so many layers of flavor and deliciousness. We couldn't decide on our favorite dish because each was heavenly brilliant in it's own way. We could taste and feel Chef Katie's love in every morsel. The service was so kind and welcoming, the ambiance comfortable yet elevated. We left satiated in every way. We are so grateful for this gem! Fantastic Coquine!

We find Coquine to be Portland's closest match to eating at fine restaurants in France. While there are other fine restaurants in Portland, none match our expectations as well as Coquine. Our recent experience included one of the best wine parings I've experienced. Don't miss the prix fixe.

We had an amazing experience at Coquine. The staff were so attentive, kind and knowledgeable. The food was absolutely incredible. We got the roasted cabbage salad, carrot soup, pork Milanese, cod and pistachio butter cake. Each plate was delicious and thoughtfully created. Can’t wait to go back again!
