I booked this restaurant for my sister in laws 25th birthday. I would say this is the best steak I have ever tasted. I had the surf and turf and it was 10 out of 10. Would highly recommend.

Outstanding service! The staff was very friendly and professional, especially a young female with dark hair, she managed everything to perfection. The food was very good, but not out of this world - exactly what you would expect for this type of place. For the location this place is very good value for money, so I will come back several time. Now for the areas of improvement; my freind who had an injury some time ago was complaining about the chairs - I personally didn't mind too much. The nice waitress found him a pillow to sit on. The indoor air quality really needs to be worked on. Because they serve food that cook on a stone on your table, the entire restaurant got full of cooking smoke. Not good for your health - especially not if you work there 5 days a week.

Ask for Magda, a kind hearted, professional young smiling lady to serve you. Follow her suggestions and prepare yourself for a delicious meat based lunch or dinner. Meat comes raw or rare and roasting finalized on a heated stone placed on your table upon your preference. Worth visiting

Food was alright however the service wasn’t good at all. No instructions given on how to cook and the hot plate with the raw meat was just put on the table with no real explanation on what to do. You would expect a bit more of an experience when going to this type of restaurant

Amazing experience! The staff was super friendly and the food was awesome. We’re American and the steaks were truly on par with what we have home. We loved the stone block. Definitely try the mix grill to get a little sample of everything.

Loved sitting outside in Amsterdam on the street….it’s a beautiful area, not as crowded as some, and tables were a nice distance apart…loved cooking our steaks on the stone, my husband and I ordered the rib eye, and my grandson ordered the sirloin. The meat was ok. Not as tender as a lot of ribeyes I’ve had, my grandson loved his sirloin. I wish the salad had some dressing on it. None of us ate it. But I would go back for the experience.

My daughter and I had a wonderful meal here. We had originally booked a later table but we arrived early and they were able to accommodate us. I had mentioned that it was my daughters birthday in the booking and they surprised her with a sparkler candle and ice cream. We both had a hot stone steak meal which was absolutely delicious. Xx

By far the best steak experience we have ever had. We got the tomahawk and the cote de boeuf and they were both amazing. When you are sitting inside the restaurant they are flaming your steak which gives us another experience. Service is spot on and a complementary coffee at the end makes everything more than excellent. This is place is highly recommended and very cheap in comparison to the price and quality you get.

Kind of a tourist trap. They didn't fully explain that they bring a hot stone out and you cook your meat on that. The whole process is cumbersome and basically a gimmick. Prices were high but to be expected in that part of Amsteram.

It was really nice. Was very overpriced for what it was. One of the waitresses got a bit hot headed with me at one point. we wanted a jug of water for the table which wasn’t allowed (which was fine) but she didn’t explain it very well that we had to order drinks so we could also have a glass of water. So she ended up snapping at me, making it a me problem.

Overall, a novel and pleasant experience. The food was tasty, despite having to cook the steak yourself (part of the experience), though cooking on the stone slab was pretty cool and different from the norm. The staff were very friendly and, for the most part, were there when we needed them. The ambience was certainly different, though not an issue, as it was expected: very lively with a smoky atmosphere due to all the cooking meat. Would recommend if looking for a good steakhouse and grill!

Food was lovely, however the seating was appalling, which ruined the experience on a whole. Lovely staff however they seemed like the couldn’t be bothered to help us find better seating especially when we have booked and was not a walk in and empty seats were available . Seated next to a broken glass should be some kind of safety issue.

It sounds like a cool idea and it might be a good show. But unfortunately it doesn't work well in reality. The stone plate is not big enough for a t-bone steak and it sticks a lot. The steak's thickness is only about 1-1.5 cm, so you have to cook it very quickly. But then there's another problem - there's no space left on your tray. So you either leave it on the stone and it's overcooked or you put it on your partner's plate :/ But the biggest problem was the meat itself, it was super chewy (at least the new yourk strip part). The fillet part was ok, but there was like 50 gr of meat. So, overall, I definitely wouldn't recommend it. If you want to cook a steak, you better do it at home :)
