    A wonderful time. Very nice atmosphere and decor. A varied menu with lots of great choices. We had the seafood platter appetizer and the two of us shared it. Scrumptious! Then I had the Digby Hodge Podge for even more seafood. Excellent! My wife had the Atlantic Salmon and really enjoyed it. Our server Damon was very friendly and helpful with meal and wine suggestions. Overall, a great experience.

    Drift! We had a fantastic dining experience at Drift. We ordered the seafood platter, and every bite was remarkably fresh and beautifully presented—truly a standout. A huge shoutout to Cole, who took wonderful care of us, but what really impressed us was the seamless team effort on the floor. Dishes were cleared smoothly, water glasses were never empty, and everyone made us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish. Outstanding food, great atmosphere, and top-tier service. We will definitely be back!

    I had a great experience at Drift. First and foremost, the staff was very competent and friendly - they gave me really good advice. The food was delicious (I had the lobster cake and the mussels with salsicchia sausage). I am very glad that the handsome waiter convinced me to have the blueberry mousse as dessert - it was spectacular. So, nothing to complain about? Not really ... just one detail: it was a bit of a pity that the amuse came together with the starter, but after that, the rhythm was perfect.

    Excellent food. Everyone in our party enjoyed both the starters and the mains . unfortunately the service did not match the food. This review is written by someone that is used to very good restaurants and not a tourist that had overly high expectations. It was a special occasion dinner that I had booked weeks prior. When we arrived we were offered a table in the middle of the restaurant at the front door. It was a table for 4 that they added seats at either end to make it 6. I told the host that we’d like a better table as this was not acceptable, he had to call over the manager. She said there was nothing they could do and that everyone had booked weeks in advance (doubtful). I explained the situation and now unhappy I was. Then our party was told to wait at the bar. They did put together another table that was acceptable 10 minutes later. There was no apology. I had ordered a bottle at the bar and was told it would be delivered to our table. We had to ask for it after waiting 10 minutes as it must have been forgotten. During the meal we did not feel looked after. One of the starters we were sharing was the salmon tartar, which was excellent, but as we were sharing this and other starters (the beef tar tar was also excellent) and there were 6 of us we would have expected 6 servings to come or be told that it was a serving of 5. Had to order an extra serving. Little things at a fine restaurant make a difference. Having dined at fine restaurants around the world, and one of our guests was a server at another local fine restaurant, we both were surprised by the lack of effort to make up for things. It wouldn’t have taken much of an effort at all but it never came. Fine dining deserves fine service. So summary is great food, poor service.
