   The 3 stars are because of the reservation issue. I could only reserve for 5 although I needed a reservation for 6. When we showed up they offers us two different table for 4 options although there were suitable tables available. We didn’t get a suitable table until the manager assisted us. Why can I not reserve a table for 6, show up and be seated? The service was good in the end but very poor at the beginning.

   Always a reliable, consistent place to go eat. Their Happy Hour is very decent for both food and drinks. Lively atmosphere but not too loud in the bar section. Very enjoyable.

   My sister and I took my mom here for brunch on her birthday. The entire staff was so kind and accommodating, and even gave my mom a complimentary dessert! Excellent experience

   Best ambient spot in Edmonton. Comfortable and cozy. The food is all good. Try the salads and they have the best steaks in town. Highly recommend.

   I had ordered a virgin Mojito and gotten a very lemonade tasting drink that definitely did not taste like a virgin Mojito. The server gave too many excuses for how they added way more syrup to accommodate for no ice in the drink so I don’t pay $6 for a watered down virgin cocktail. So then I really didn’t care to wait for another drink to be made with all the excuses I was given for her bartender when we were here 3-4 weeks prior and the same drink was made perfectly. Food was good and came out hot. Overall the service was very lack lustre and pretty absent. They had appeared to be short-staffed from how little I saw my server. I wanted to tip 15% but their new minimums on the machine is 18% so I chose that. Then once payment was given, she divulged she wasn’t busy at all because she had us (2 people) and a large party in their atrium that was done dinner before us. So then why the shoddy service? I regret giving a tip as I did for poor service and I normally don’t question tips as I have years of serving experience. 3-4 weeks prior we were served by Lanna and the food and service experience was night and day compared to this one. Hope many people get served by Lanna in the future because she was a treat!

    My husband ordered steak and lobster with a side of mushrooms, and I ordered the truffle tortellini with a 6oz steak. His lobster was hot and delicious, however both his steak, mushrooms, and other sides were cold. Not even warm. My steak was warmish, but the truffle tortellini was also cold. The waitress asked if she could heat it up, but didn’t offer to have either meal remade, so we declined as reheating the steak wouldn’t make it any better. They did discount 1/2 of our bottle of wine. The service was ok.. not great and the restaurant wasn’t very busy. Overall, our experience was very disappointing. We did tip the waitress 22% because I understand that they have to tip out regardless of the quality of food. We spent $200 including her tip and that will be the last time we dine in at Tin Palace. If one meal costs $65, and it is not even hot, you’ve already failed.

    Our group of three had a lovely time at Earls. I had made a reservation and asked to be placed in a well lit spot as my aunt, soon to be 98, was one of our group. The staff was amazing, my food delicious, and service superb. The one burger, that was undercooked on one end, was removed from our bill and the chef reassured this guest that all was well. I appreciate the fact that all staff were attentive and conscientious.

    Seemed like there was some disconnect with the shift manager, seating us, and taking our drink order than our waitress coming and taking the other half of our drink order, and then the original half of our drink, order, not showing up until we reminded our waitress, other than that it was good

    This location is not up to “Tin Palace” standards anymore. We had limited seating space due to the majority of tables not cleaned up. The happy hour menu has been reduced significantly with no negotiation of substitutions of menu items. Drinks were added to our tab 2 mins prior to Happy hour; therefore, charging us regular price. Steak wasn’t cooked to specifications, but they removed it from our bill. I love Earls, but won’t be attending this location again.

    Service was dreadfully slow. Beverage took 20 mins, food was brought to wrong table and we weren’t informed. Tofu was ice cold out of fridge and 6 meals were brought out at three times. No apology or anything from management. Had to rush for hockey game. Was noted it was a bday and not even a dessert was offered for our 78 year old mother. Greatly disappointed. Sent message to restaurant and never received a response

    Hi, My friend and I dined in the Bar during happy hour at Earls Tin on Friday Dec. 9th.We ordered 2 happy hour pizzas, 4 happy hours glasses of wine, 2 happy hour beers, and 2 happy hour appetizers. The bill came to $97 which did not seem right. When I got home, I added it up and realized we were overcharged by nearly $20. The waitress split our bill and I think she put 4 glasses of wine and a beer on each bill. Next time I will look at the bill more carefully before paying. I go to Earls several times a year and this has never happened before, THX

    Service was excellent…our server was attentive but not bothersome. Server made suggestions that were requested and appreciated. Our white wine came to the table in a decanter and warm. The bar nor bar staff had checked the temperature. We waited for the wine to cool but it did affect our experience. The server was apologetic but offered no suggestion. In retrospect we should have returned it and requested a wine properly chilled. My companion ordered off the new¬able menu (steak and tortellini) which was very good. My ceasar salad was overdressed and soggy. The chicken was very good. The bread was dry and inedible. I’ll return but will send back to the kitchen when things are not right

    Food was delicious - had the tuna poke and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the drinks weren't as good. It's the second tine I've been there and ordered the Italian Spritzer and was told it isn't available. They also couldn't manage a decaf cappuccino and despite saying on the menu that they had an alternate to milk, they said they were out. Disappointing that the beverages don't measure up to the rest of the meal.

    A friend recommended Earl's Chicken Biryani, so that's what we ordered. It's a very healthy portion, easily shareable by two. But it's not Chicken Biryani! Not biryani as I know it i.e. layers of rice, chicken and caramelized onion. Rather, it was Chicken Curry with Rice. In any case, it was a tasty curry and our server was a delight. All in all, an enjoyable meal.

    Food was very disappointing, 4 out of the 5 meals were cold. And to “fix” the issue the kitchen thought putting 2 eggs benedict under the heat lamp to warm up, so now the plate is to hot to touch, eggs cooked even more .. made the potato’s hard. The 2 steaks dishes were cooked ok but all of the side dishes were cold. While the manager offered to pay for a round of drinks, when you see two of the dishes were barely touched maybe offer to take off the bill. Service was good. But not planning to return to this location.
