Earl's Yaletown has experienced a significant decline in quality. It once boasted friendly and attentive service, delicious food like Chicken Tacos, and reasonable prices. However, it has now taken a turn for the worse. The servers are rude and intimidating, prices have skyrocketed, and the menu options have become less appealing. Our recent visit for a friend group anniversary was disappointing, and we are inclined to steer clear of it unless there are no better alternatives available.

We ordered the King Pao chicken dish and when we received, there clearly was little to no chicken in the dish (x 2 orders), we told the waitress but she kept telling us that they weigh the chicken before they include in the dish, but for what we saw there was actually hardly any chicken if any, she brought us some chicken but then charged us extra, this was not good service and we then had to speak to the Manager who then comped us the extra chicken charge … frustrating

First time at this specific location and I was super impressed! This was the nicest Earl’s in terms of interior, food quality, and service. Glad we made a last minute reservation for Saturday night because the place got really busy around 6PM. Our server was super friendly and attentive despite it getting so busy. We ordered tuna tataki, oysters, shrimp cocktail, and steaks. Seafood tasted fresh and our steaks were cooked to perfection with delicious fries/mashed potatoes and veggies. I would definitely come back again when I get the chance! :)

Usually great service at Earl's but unfortunately on this occasion it was a little less than par. Drinks were not made as ordered on 2 occasions and on a 3rd occasion served in a broken glass (chip and crack). Attention to detail on the part of server and/or bartender lacking.

The patio is a great place for people watching. Our server Liam was so friendly and knowledgable. Had the margaritas, tuna tacos, tuna tataki and some rose. Overall, a great experience. Good vibes :)

I want to point out that our server was exceptional. But the hostess was extremely rude to us - not only when we walked in but when we left too. It wouldn’t hurt her to smile once in a while.

Our Margs were missing simple syrup/agave which was fine but when the server brought it out to us she charged us for it. Then my salad was missing dressing and she brought me a dressed salad but had me hand-pick my tofu out of the original salad and put it on the new one while she watched. Nothing was discounted for this experience, only upcharged.

Wow, what an amazing experience! I made reservations for my girlfriend's birthday, and we were seated promptly, even though the restaurant was bustling. The entire staff was exceptionally warm and courteous, from the host who seated us to our attentive waitress and waiter, and the manager, Rez. The food was not only incredibly delicious but also offered fantastic value for the price. To top it off, Rez generously treated my girlfriend to the most exquisite creme brulee we've ever tasted, on the house. A big thank you to Earl's and especially to Rez for making our evening truly memorable.

We went to celebrate a friend’s homecoming and made it a surprise dinner for her. The staff went above and beyond to help us with the surprise and even put a balloon and card on the table. Food and service was great. The frozen margaritas were a 10/10. Definitely coming back soon.

Not the best experience. First our server was very nice, super helpful and friendly. She had a birthday card ready for our son at the table when we arrived it was such a nice treat. 👍🏻 The drinks were good. 👍🏻 The menu at this Earls is not the same as other Earls. It’s much smaller. With fewer gluten free options. I guess we should have checked before going. The Cajun Chicken sandwich ($25) was good, the gluten free bun was good too. The Truffle fries ($14), they were extreme peppery. We had to wait to have them redone and finally took them to go. The soup ($14) was good and a good portion. The burger ($23) was good. The fries portions with the burgers are small. Overall if it wasn’t so overpriced it would be fine. My son got dessert for his birthday which was a nice touch. The restaurant was really cold, at the end of dinner we just couldn’t wait to leave. There was also a weird odour in the restaurant, it wasn’t pleasant. Overall ambiance just wasn’t great. It’s really loud, like can’t hear the person across from you loud and the restaurant was only half full. Also awkwardly the custom experience manager came and asked us about our experience when we just arrived 🤷🏼‍♀️ before we even got drinks. He should have come by at the end. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Our food orders were messed up —2 of them after discussing several minutes. Wait staff was quick to remedy and nice. It was too loud (music) and cold. Food quality was good. First beer was flat and needed sent back. Wait staff friendly. Bathrooms dirty at 6:30 pm And one stall no toilet paper —(female)-I told one member of team and they seemed to act on it appropriately

we came here for their late night happy hour, and the place was buzzing. there was a private event at the loft, people waiting for tables outside and the place was busy, but not packed at 10:00 pm. i like that earls has many cocktails to choose from on their happy hour menu. i enjoyed my watermelon slush, but my spouse found a glass shard in his beer which was quickly replaced. we weren’t hungry but ordered to share the truffle fries, tropic thunder pizza (soggy), and salt & pepper chicken wings. we were busy chatting over the loud music that i didn’t notice that my drinks were taken away prematurely, twice. we used to go to earls on a regular basis before covid and managers used to be service oriented.

Ordered steak and prawns. The dinner I did not eat, only item that was good were the mash potatoes. Prime Sirloin was grisly/fatty, plus it was not cooked the way I ordered. In fairness the Manager took it off our bill, an offer of an appy on the house would have been a nice gesture. I came for the food and great dining experience and Earls Yaletown missed the mark. It was $60 for 3 cocktails that were nothing special. I felt extremely disappointed and left the restaurant hungry. Would not recommend.
