   Love the staff. The menu was easy to read and order from. So many amazing gluten free choices. They were able to make the club sandwich GF with sourdough gf bread. Haven’t had sour dough in a decade!

   Tried a few dishes, the devilled eggs were excellent, coffee was hot and strong. One person had the eggs Benny, one had the breakfast bowl and one had the forest mushroom omelette, all were excellent. The homemade pickles and potatoe chips were amazing! We will be back.

   What a wonderful place to eat……redefines breakfast and brunch in Cowtown! Chic, spotless decor, friendly, polite servers and excellent food. This is NOT a place for warmed up frozen hash browns, same old eggs/toast and overcooked bacon and pork sausage. They have a number of food option for different diets. I normally detest turkey sausage, but theirs is delicious. Perfectly poached eggs to your preference. In house smoked salmon, served with their own in house pickles. Slices of super crispy potatoes with a delicious glaze. Took my two besties there in one week….they r passing the word to families and friends. They take reservations….this place is gonna be very popular soon so get a online reservation or call them. Hint read a map or use your GPS to get the off ramps right to get to this restaurant on the west side of Macleod Trail, jus north of Heritage Drive

   Thoroughly enjoyed my first time visiting this restaurant. Upon arrival the server went over the menu and preparation of foods including the care they take to avoid cross contamination. The gluten free Lemon Thyme waffle with white chocolate mousse was so decadent and delicious! Great coffee and crafted drinks, attentive servers, very nice ambience. My friend had the Benny and said it was great, liked the hollandaise and fingerling hash. Plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options. Sorry, forgot to take photos today 😔

   This new venue impresses not only with food but with service as well. Not only was the food selection great but it was presented with flair. If you love breakfast like we do, this is an excellent choice.

    First time here! We both had the smoked pork belly benedict (not the official name). Loved the poached eggs - actually done in a poacher and didn't have that horrible vinegar taste that so many chefs use when free poaching. The smoked pork belly was very nicely slicked and delicious. Sauteed kale is a nice touch as are the homemade potato chips. Meal also came with potato wedges and some bread and butter pickles. Great service and a great little place - definitely recommend!

    The bacon and Swiss cheese bread pudding was quite possibly the most disgusting soggy thing I have ever seen. It was like wet thanksgiving stuffing topped with hollandaise topped with a sunny side up egg (that wasn’t even included in the description of the dish on the menu) to make a horrendous goopy mess. The server forgot to bring us our bill after asking if we wanted the bill so we just sat there waiting while people who arrived after us paid and left. We won’t be back.

    Food and service was great. The parking is free but you have to register your vehicle online. I had an over zealous parking patroller who gave me a $96 ticket even before I had a chance to take my coat off and sit down to register. The ticket was voided but not until some time was wasted through email and then the phone.

    I found Egg & Spoon on google as was looking for a breakfast restaurant that would take reservations. The service was friendly and impeccable. The menu is simple and good but don’t expect a four page option list. We LOVED the experience, the quality of food, the service team and the ability to reserve. Highly recommend giving this a try!!

    There were three of us. We all enjoyed our food. One had the breakfast bowl and the eggs Benny and the turkey sausage fresh start. Everything was very good and delicious.

    What a find! This will be our new go-to breakfast and brunch restaurant. The menu was diverse and familiar yet unique, with so many options we wanted to try. The food was exquisite- every bite of food was delicious - seasoned and prepared to perfection. Great coffee. Mimosas. Deviled eggs to share. Then I had the omelette and my husband had the club sandwich on focaccia. We were both blown away at the many different flavours and how much effort was put into the food. We shared gelato for dessert . Absolutely wonderful experience, so glad to have a breakfast place of this calibre close to home in the south.
