   This is one of my favorite restaurants. Though it has a great location I think of it as a hidden gem in the Heights. My experience last night was great as always.

   Sat us outside even though the reservation was for inside. Nice nights in Houston don’t happen a lot!! Food was excellent and was the service, attentive but not intrusive

   I am not sure what took us so long to dine here. Nice atmosphere inside and ample outside space. The service is team oriented and is quite good. Full bar, good wine and beer choices. We ordered PULPO 4/5, ARTICHOKE 5/5, REDFISH 4.5/5, LOW COUNTRY FRIED CHICKEN PICCATA 5/5, and MOMMA’S BANANA PUDDING 3/5.

   We had not been to Field & Tides in some time, and last night we went back only to have experience an absolutely exceptional dinner. The service was executed so well, with knowledgeable and interesting servers. The food was a 10 out of 10, and our guest last night was incredibly impressed. Recommend the deviled eggs with pork belly, fried oysters with brussels, redfish, snapper, and strawberry dessert. Wow, can't wait to go back and experience that again very soon. Cocktails were also fantastic. Great job to the team at Field & Tides!!!

    I was a little disappointed that we had a reservation and there was not a table in the main dining room. It was my first time to dine at fields and tides. Food was good and plentiful.

    First visit. Inside choice as weather was bad. Didn't realize they have to indoor options - ended up at the smaller, less romantic room. Ended up being very nice. Great service. She crab soup for starters - yummy. crab & brie fondue was just as flavorful. Main course we had the special, drum.....and scallops. So many options we couldn't go wrong. Will definitely return to try other dishes.

    The weather was lovely and it was quieter than inside so we enjoyed sitting outside. We ordered the deviled eggs which were okay, the tomato crab stack which was flavorless and the redfish and the risotto which were both excellent. A waiter was not assigned to our table so all the waiters would stop by to help us which felt impersonal. If we go again, we will have the redfish and sit at the bar so we'll have the same person waiting on us.

    This is a reliably excellent restaurant. Every time we go the service is attentive and the food delicious. We went for Saturday lunch and I had lunch and my husband had brunch. We keep coming back because it is so good. Our only complaint is that it can be too cold. We haven’t figured out yet which is the best table to not get blown on.

    I like the concept of all servers work as a team for their patrons. The food and drinks are amazing and the meals look exactly like the pictures shown on the online menu. Drew is a awesome bartender and the Justin(s) & Chris were awesome. I will be back.

    We have had 2 meals at Field and Tides and they have both been excellent. This is going to become one of our go to places to eat! The Brussel sprouts and oysters are AMAZING!!
