The Freedom Restaurant and Sushi has long been regarded in the region for the quality of its culinary experience. While our chefs’ repertoires are diverse, they share a passion for Asian-inspired cuisines. Exceptional presentations of fish and local produce are highlights of the culinary experience on the property; and pastries and breads are baked fresh daily in our ovens.
With its understated, contemporary elegance, Freedom showcases an Asian-inspired menu from The Freedom Restaurant Culinary Team – who are known for exceptional sushi. While enjoying breathtaking oceanfront views, you may feel as if the restaurant is yours alone – with a private chef preparing cuisine that celebrates our island’s aquatic bounty. - Please Note Freedom is cash free ( We don't accept cash )

Our ceviche appetizer was underwhelming. The portion was very small, and not as listed on the menu. For instance, it contained pomegranate seeds and jalapeños, which was not noted, but the crunchy onions and cilantro on the menu listing were not included. Both entrées, however, were spectacular. The pasta had a healthy portion size and great flavor. The real lacking part was our service. The waitress was not friendly, and very difficult to even hear. She made a little attempt at a connection while dining, and never checked back in. Given the caliber of the restaurant, this was very surprising and disappointing. The noise level was comfortable, but the restaurant was fairly empty. Despite booking this and noting it was a special occasion, this was not recognized by the staff.

This is an incredibly beautiful location and the staff are as beautiful. Very welcoming and kind . The food was delicious and presentation simple and pretty. I hade the tempura sushi roll which was excellent but the fresh salad to start was the best. Either because we hadn’t had fresh greens in a while or just that it was a nice mix and beautifully presented. We will be back!!!!

Very basic menu. Salads, fish tacos. Conch fritters, burgers. Not gourmet at all.

The experience and the food could not have been better. After our experience, we made reservations for dinner every evening while we are in Eleuthera.

Ah New Year’s Eve! The Chef outdid himself with a great buffet. The Junkanoo band was fabulous as was the sunset from the outdoor bar. We did not stay till midnight but had a good time.

The food was wonderful. I had the cassava fries for my appetizer and the pan-seared grouper for my main course. My boyfriend enjoyed the seafood pasta, and he mentioned that it was very delicious. He's not typically a big eater, and he finished his entire meal.

We have dined at The Cove quite a few times and it never disappoints. The staff are friendly and competent and the food is always great. Would highly recommend.
