Really enjoyed the food and the service. We like the cicchetti style of serving smaller dishes that come when they come vs the usual starter/main structure. Favourites on our table included the veal and prawn risotto for our meat-eating companions, and for us veggies, my wife adored the very rich gorgonzola gnochi. The bar is loud and pervades the whole restaurant - this is not a complaint, just know it before you go. We had read this too and thought it might not be a factor for our early-evening (17:30) booking for a nice meal after a fab matinee show at BRB - but it really was loud in there, sometimes to the point of hampering conversation between the four of us when the "doof-doof" music was inexplicably turned UP around 6pm. But again, this is not a complaint: the atmosphere is appropriate for a fun kickoff to a Saturday night in Brum... and the food is sooo good that you'd forgive them :) Enjoy!

Waited 25 mins to get seated, 10 mins to take our order and 15 mins for the 1st course. Food great, wine, way overpriced. Music completely samey for all the time we sat there and unbelievably loud .

Excellent food and service, although the music went very load at 8.30 so difficult to talk maybe 9.30 onwards would make it easier to chat and eat

Got sat near the bar underneath a speaker the music and bar area was so loud I couldn't hear my partner across the table. Terrible place to go for a dinner. It was like we were sat in the middle of a nightclub.

Luckily we had a table in the main restaurant area, not skirting the bar where customers walk passed/overlooked our table. Good service, attentive without being overwhelming. Lively atmosphere, but not noisy. Good quality food that came out quickly. Recommend the carbonara, aubergine parmigiana, truffle risotto. The calzone was unfortunately cold, (cooked on the outside, cold inside.) Good quality wine.

Not a place to have a relaxing meal. We were seated just after the time I booked, even though we arrived early and was told the table would be available in 3 mins and sat empty the whole time we were waiting. Then the service throughout our meal felt rushed, to the extent we were asked to finish quickly (after 80 minutes) as the table was booked for another party, even though I had booked it for 90 minutes

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had to date. Ordered a variety of food and it was all exquisite. We will definitely be dining again. The portion sizes are deliberately small which is reflected in the prices as they intend for you to order multiple dishes and have a buffet style experience. Worked really well for us
