We went to G Prime to celebrate an anniversary, and as frequent guests there we were not disappointed. The food was excellent (even the bread, which was a new option, was great), the service was attentive and helpful, and the ambiance was perfect for a special occasion. (Having eaten in the bar previously, I can attest that is a good option as well for a more casual evening.) I highly recommend G Prime.

Beautiful setting, excellent service, delicious meal. Tried the crab cake for the first time, and will definitely order it again. That is a tough thing to get right, and it was delicious.

The restaurant is beautiful inside and the staff were very attentive. We ordered the short rib dinner and lobster tail dinner along with a salad. We thought the short rib dinner could have been more flavorful. The meat was very tender but needed additional seasonings. The lobster tail dinner was good but lobster was chewy. Overall, we were disappointed with our dinner selections.

Our server, Claire, was excellent. Professional, friendly, they are when we needed her and not when we didn’t. The atmosphere was inviting and the room we were in was beautiful. A nightcap on the patio with the jazz combo playing was the perfect and to our birthday celebration.

This was our first visit to G Prime and we will definitely return. It was the best dining experience we have had in Wilmington in quite a while. We each had a twelve-ounce Wagyu ribeye. For sides we had a Caesar Salad, mushroom ragout and scalloped potatoes. The steaks were cooked perfectly and melted in our mouths. I want to let everybody know that the sides are large enough for at least two and possibly three people to share. Kiko was our server and she was perfect. The atmosphere was to our liking meaning we could sit and converse without screaming at each other. Everyone was speaking softly, no phones were present and we had plenty of time to eat at a leisurely pace and enjoy our dinner. It is not an inexpensive place, but I feel that it was worth every penny.

Wonderful flavor on the tenderloin! Good version of the Wedge Salad. Dessert (chocolate mirror cake) was amazing. We found a good Italian wine which didn't break the bank. Great service from Kim!
