Great spot. Very attentive service. I wish they had a more robust wine list

GM was awesome. Accommodated our request to book a table so we could use OP rewards but allowed us to pick up our meals. Forgot our salad and ice cream was all melted, but otherwise order was great. We had the potato leek soup and crabcake starters; trout, pork chop, and short ribs for main courses; and banana chocolate bread pudding and apple crisp for dessert. Everything was delicious! Not usually a big fan of hotel restaurants, but will definitely plan a return visit.

We love this place. It's been a great addition to the neighborhood and the deck is a nice addition.

Website says you could chose from regular menu even during Open Table, but that is not true. Once there, after waiting, and with your glass, you can’t leave. That is not a fair way to get clients.

Only draw back was that every time a car pulled in to the hotel, the headlights would shine directly into my eyes. Otherwise, food was outstanding, service was excellent and overall ambiance was great for date night.

A great option for outdoor dining. Will be eager to try the dining room once circumstances allow!

Wonderful food! We dined for restaurant week and between the six of us tried just about everything on the menu. We enjoyed wine with our meal. Service was a bit slow but we were understanding given that it was a Saturday evening. We sat inside but they have what appeared to be a heated outdoor tent.

Restaurant week was a good deal and very tasty. Service, especially timing, needs work but the staff is very friendly and courteous.

Restaurant Week menu was excellent. Outdoor seating option was comfortable both temperature and safety wise. Will definitely be back.

The food is delicious. I mean really really delicious. Staff is really good as well. This place will quickly turn into a local favorite. Covered Outdoor dining with many heaters during Covid was perfect during these chilly months.

A wonderful neighorhood gem tucked into the Glover Park Hotel. It is navigating the current restaurant challenge quite well at the experienced helm of chef Michael Schlow. Staff is terrific and most helpful. Cudos to the manager onsite for the evening and the bartender who took on multiple roles. My BF and I, by chance, dined during Restaurant Week...what a great value! Cocktails were a great begining to the evening. Starters were a tasty mix of flavors in the arugula salad and a most awesome Pastrami smoked salmon with a creamy, dreamy deviled egg aioli..a nice twist on the usual accompaniment. Entrees of beef short rib and pork rib chop were cooked to perfection. We enjoyed a sweet ending with chocolate banana bread pudding and caramelized apple crisp..yum! Ambiance needs attention which will most likely be made as we move out of COVID restrictions. Felt bad for servers who braved the cold night to deliver food & drink to those dining in the outdoor tent. Seated by the door, we received continual reminders that we were happily inside! But, you can't control weather!

Made a rsvp. They sat us outside in the cold even though I requested inside. Waiter didn't explain the Restaurant Week menu and we ended up paying more than expected. Then they charged us two extra cocktails to the bill we had to dispute. Then to make matter worse, they charged to two of my friends' credit card party more than what they we're supposed to pay. And on top of it all the food was average. DO NOT GO to this hot mess of a place.

Everything was great - however, even with the tent, two kinds of heaters, it was too cold to sit outside and so we rushed through our meal as the wind picked up and we got colder and colder. We will order carry out from now on.

Socially safe COVID precautions in place in outdoor dining, with multiple heaters for winter outdoor dining. Friendly service, great food. Gracious hosts. Apres Ski & Winter Wonderland on Sundays is a fun treat, executed well.

The Glover Park Grill has done a wonderful job creating an attractive, safe, warm atmosphere on their deck. The food was good, ambience great -- we had a heat bar and a tall heat lamp -- and the server worked himself nearly to death running up and down to the kitchen. Bravo to the GPG for giving us a place to enjoy our friends.

The steak tartar was fantastic. The steak and shrimps as well. You can not go wrong with any food that you order. The tiramisu was also delicious. We would recommend to just go in and enjoy!

Now has plastic sheeting outside to break some of the cold winter wind. It’s still very open so even those averse io sitting in a tent should feel comfortable. Food was great as always!

The butternut squash soup was nicely spiced, the salmon was cooked perfectly, the chicken was juicy. Excellent service. The outdoor tent covered dining area was airy and ventilated and we were well away from others. The chocolate banana bread pudding was incredible!

Best Caesar salad I've had in DC. Great burger as well...

Glover Park Grill was great. The outdoor patio dining experience was warm and beautiful. The service was great and the manager was very friendly!

Great atmosphere and covid friendly and safe which was a huge advantage. The heaters on the patio were fantastic! I will definitely back to this neighborhood spot. Thank you!

Glover Park Grill provided great ambiance for a birthday celebration. The menu was varied and their take on the philly cheesesteak was good-but I was expecting more umph- the baked salmon was very good. Their bar selection is also very good. Service is exceptional. Overall a great culinary experience.

Crab cake was excellent. The duck confit was also delicious. The wine list is interesting and contain some of the best prices I’ve seen in a restaurant in a long time.

The outside space may be one of Washington's best kept secret. For those of us who will only eat outside this is a dream. The tables are spaced well apart and the experience was very pleasant. The staff do a great job of being professional and friendly and safe. All very important at this time. Can't wait to return!!!!

We were happy with our meal and glad they held on to some of the best items from Casolare (slow roasted salmon, giant chicken parm). We had the salmon and it was upgraded a bit with more beautiful plating than the casolare version. We also got the cavatelli, which was super tasty with lots of crab. We sat outside on what used to be their deck and we were comfortable on a 40 degree night with the heat lamps. We were told they are walling it in somewhat (will still have ventilation but will be a reprieve from the winter wind) and turning it into a cafe. In these times where some feel more comfortable eating outside, this is a terrific use of this asset. See pic for what the outdoor space looked like on the night we dined. Apparently the outdoor space will be more enclosed in the next day or so. We are glad to see them open and will definitely be frequent patrons. Also we saw many many people doing takeout on a Saturday night, so happy they are being supported!

Great place

Living across the street, my wife and I were so excited to try the Glover Park Grill. The food was outstanding. For appetizers, we had the shrimp cocktail and chopped salad. For entrees, we had the burger and the salmon, and for dessert we indulged with the bread pudding and a sundae. Everything was delicious, and the service was so friendly. We cannot wait to come back.
