   Our server, Alex, was prompt and so professional she made us feel like we were at a fine dining restaurant. The bartender, Christopher, made us the best Bloody Mary we’ve ever had. 10/10 service from both Alex and Christopher. Our food was okay, nothing special, but the service and ambiance made the experience special. Noise level was fine… my only critique is the playlist was all over the place and not always on point for a breakfast vibe. Maybe that’s just me, but just something to note.

   My partner and I had an amazing date at Good Day Good Night! They were a little busy due to a large party that made reservations but the staff were absolutely wonderful and attentive. The food was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend the shrimp tacos. The truffle fries are also amazing! Their desserts were top notch as well! Will definitely go again ☺️

   The food and service were very good and the cocktails were great! It was a bit odd that the restaurant was mostly empty at 7 pm on a Thursday. This is a great place for those who are hard of hearing or do not like crowds.

   The drinks took 30 min to come out and they were made incorrectly. My friends ordered truffle fries and they brought them out when we were finished with our meal. We were charged incorrectly for drinks.

   The food was good, portions were a bit small for price. I ordered the Arugula Salad with Salmon. Salad was great, salmon was cooked & seasoned well, but portion was tiny.

   Great environment but food is very ok nothing wrong just thought is would be better. I had the banana foster French toast and they give you one piece of bread for $15 and my fiancée had the omelette and she didn’t like it much

    This was our first time here. We were seated right away and drink orders were taken. The menu is small but had a nice selection. We started off with the cast iron feta with warm pita's. we both enjoyed that very much. My wife ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with fries and I ordered the roasted chicken that came with roasted potatoes with a little bit of gravy that coated the plate. My wife enjoyed her sandwich but said it really wasn't spicy, she gave me a bite and I agree, not spicy at all. Also, her fries were a little soggy for her. My roasted chicken was good. It seems like it was also flash fried by the looks of the skin. The food came out hot and fresh but just didn't have a lot flavor to it. Our waiter was very attentive and kept our glasses full, the manager also stopped by to check on us. It was an enjoyable evening, we always try to go to places we've never been to before. We've been to about 60% of the open table places listed in the Raleigh area. Certainly give Good Day Good Night a try.

    Good Day Good Night was a great experience. This is a great spot for a relaxing brunch. The food was amazing and the staff was very helpful. I would recommend this spot to anyone for brunch or dinner. I will definitely be returning for another visit.

    The ambience of the restaurant is beautiful with some whimsical sculptures like a giant squirrel and a donut sign, the gorgeous accent walls, the lighting and the patchwork design on the bench seating. There are several different seating areas including the bar, sofa sections, bench seating with a table for two, a standard four top, and long high top tables. The cocktail menu was the primary reason that I chose this restaurant. The teapot cocktail was featured on the restaurant’s Instagram 7 hours before I arrived, so I knew they would be able to make it… Nope. I was told that they were missing ingredients due to a conference that had happened recently. Former bartender, here, the social media team and the bar need to communicate to prevent this from happening, lest the social media work and customers actually come to your venue for drinks you’re not able to make. I order their Vodka Cocktail, instead, to start. My date orders the Spicy Margarita instead. 15 minutes later, we are informed the ingredients are out for the Vodka Cocktail too. They were nice enough to bring us 2 glasses of prosecco for the inconvenience, but we were left wondering where the margarita was…. We wondered where our cheese plate appetizer was hiding. 30 minutes passed before a simple cheese platter was brought to our table, plated with only a spoon and no cheese knife. The Spicy Margarita arrived shortly after we asked our waitress where it was…. Had it been sitting at the bar for close to 30 minutes? Our food arrived shortly thereafter. He ordered a burger with truffle fries. And I decided on shrimp lollipops and truffle fries. The presentation was good on most, however I will admit the my first impression of the shrimp was that they appeared unseasoned and bland. I am glad that my first bite proved that looks could be deceiving. Each bite was bursting with flavor, but I would recommend to the chef that he perhaps sears them to give them more color. Truffle fries were lukewarm and wet.

    Nice for a light brunch. The food was good. Service was ok. Our server was great but you can tell they were understaffed and having difficulty with keeping up with orders. Overall a good experience though have had better brunch experiences in the city.

    A total hidden gem worthy of its great location between Glenwood South and downtown Raleigh. Excellent food and drink on a special evening. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly offering great suggestions. The atmosphere was very modern and downtempo. Get the baked feta - dynamite. The tomato chutney on the trio of dips was also a standout. We'll be back for sure. I have to acknowledge Mr. Dennis Washington - the food and beverage supervisor who welcomed us. Dennis was fantastic and made a special evening all the more special. We came back and had drinks after dinner. We'll be back for sure.

    The food (grits and omelet) and drinks (bottled water and non-alcoholic peach bellini) was good. The ambiance and noise level was good. The Server (Alex) was polite, professional and quick. However, it took almost 15 minutes to be seated while waiting at the "Hostess Desk". It took another 10 almost 15 minutes fir someone to ask for our drink orders. When the food arrived there was hair on it. Then when I paid the check with cash I was short changed by $10. Will we return to Good Day Good Night? No! Do I recommend Good Day Good Night? Maybe?? I also wrote a review on Google and I have not received a response, apology or even an acknowledgement of the unpleasant experience.

    We ordered our coffee first, and one person got their coffee before their meal (a latte) and two of us got our coffee brought to us almost as we were finishing eating our meal (one of which was a cappuccino, and the other was just a black coffee!). Also we ordered a baked pancake, and there was no warning on the menu, nor did the server tell us, that it would take 40 minutes to make. We just kept getting told "it is coming, it is coming." It showed up after everyone else, except the person waiting for it, had finished eating their meals. The only redeeming thing was that they did not charge us for the pancake, nor for the coffees.

    If you are looking for a fun night out in Raleigh.... this is NOT THE PLACE! We didn't even get to the dinner party because the empty bar with 1 bartender could not serve 4 poured drinks within 30mins. We complained, and the bartender laughed. We said how could we expect a great dinner with drinks if it took 30mins for a glass of rose at AN EMPTY BAR!! The manager we spoke with was unbothered by his bartender. Bad customer service and a dead bar with a wait to get drinks.

    Reviews had been positive to date so had an opportunity to try the restaurant this past weekend. The ambiance was casual trendy and the below street level layout provided sufficient separation from bar and restaurant seating. Service was very good - friendly and attentive. Food was so so. Brick Chicken was very salty and my friends steak was undercooked. The appetizers were fine. Overall, good place for a drink and appetizer but not sure would return for dinner only.

    My friend and I went for Saturday brunch and were ignored for a while by staff when our food had issues. My friend had noticeable brown eggs shells in her scrambled eggs to which they tried to tell her was sea salt. My French toast was cold and dry. We sat unnoticed in a practically empty restaurant for 20 minutes before our server finally saw us asking for her to come sort out the issues with our food. Some of the issues never got resolved and they still charged us full price for everything. I would not recommend coming here even if it’s the only place open to sit you on a busy brunch weekend, I would recommend waiting to be seated somewhere else.

    Went for brunch, great food! A bit expensive but would’ve definitely been worth it we’re it not for our negative experience. I think it was because they were busy due to the Dreamville festival so don’t let it deter you if you’re visiting or local - the food really was that good. For transparency I’ve detailed what happened below: Set up reservation a day in advance, called that morning (~2 hours notice) to see about adding two people and were confirmed. When we arrived they asked us to wait for our table to be set up and it was nearly an hour until we sat down. Again, I’m not sure if it was because of the Dreamville festival combined with labor shortages but our table had just needed to be wiped down the entire time - it was completely empty. Hostess was really nice and apologetic about it and we moved on because ultimately it wasn’t a huge deal.
