   The drinks were horrible the food had no flavor. Waitress only took order never picked up plates or even asked if we needed anything. The view was obstructed so we couldn’t enjoy the sunset. Worst Birthday dinner Only conversation with waitress was here’s your check not even would you like anything else or dessert. Overall not a pleasant experience

   This restaurant is AMAZING. The food, service/staff and ambiance/views were breathtaking. I recommend this rooftop restaurant a million times over. If you get the opportunity to dine please take advantage, we definitely will be going back!

   Rooftop was wonderful. Music was great and perfect volume when we got there. Unfortunately, the volume was turned up and eventually it was so loud we had a hard time communicating at our table. The food was delicious and our server, Allie was fantastic. She really guided with our choices and she allowed us time to relax and enjoy the sunset. We will be back during our next visit to Asheville.

   We got there early for our reservation but they seated us immediately. It's cheerfully decorated and the food was tasty. The only issue was that they served us food without giving us silverware first. Then when we ordered coffee, it took they five minutes to find spoon to stir the sugar since they'd already cleared the table. Overall we had a great time and want to return in warmer weather to enjoy the terrace.

    Extremely slow service, which would be fine if the food was good. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. Empanadas were tasty but the entrées weren’t worth the price.

    Invasive waitress with lack of personal space, worlds smallest ceviche for $18 that tasted like it was from a frozen bag, flavorless steak, never was given the option as to how I’d like the steak cooked, and a regular old fashioned shouldn’t be the same price as their specialty chai old fashioned.

    My girlfriend and I enjoyed our meal during a beautiful sunset over the Blue Ridge Mountains. The warm colors of the sky matched the scenic patio, and we were not the only ones taking pictures of the view. Our server was outstanding and accommodating. Our food came out without much of a wait and was delicious. I ordered the Vaca Frita with congri and plain tostones, while my girlfriend ordered Frita Cubana with fries. Our food was excellent as was my Fall Chai Old Fashioned and her Cuban Sour. If you're planning on eating here, I can't recommend reserving a patio table on a cool afternoon at sunset enough. The view would have been worth the price of admission alone, but we were very satisfied with our dining experience as well.

    Food was excellent and the drinks were good. Our server lacked attentiveness and other servers and the manager had to step in to make sure we had what we needed which was reasonable (another glass of water, a smaller plate for entrees we shared).

    I hope the management would instal a partition between booths. I could hear the conversation behind me throughout dinner. There was a group of young ladies who got tipsy and loud. They should be seated at a corner instead.

    Great food and service. We sat by a window and had a nice view. The restaurant is in the fourth floor. The patio looked inviting but it was raining, so we skipped it.

    View is great, but my expectations were way too high for the food and experience. Server was nice but extremely slow with barely anyone in the restaurant. Bartender was sarcastic and dismissive. Too expensive for what you actually get.

    This place came recommended by others. We came for brunch and received a menu that did not include the brunch menu. We waited for a server to help us; no one came to our table for about 15 minutes and it was difficult to tell who was serving tables. I went to the front to get menus. I asked for Cuban coffee with a small amount of sugar; I was told the machine wasn't working and I had to wait. It came ten minutes later with a lot of sugar. We ordered from the brunch menu; the steak was not available. No one came to check on us, to get more beverages, nor to add water to our glasses. I will not come back for meals; perhaps we will come for drinks at the rooftop. It just seemed like no one cared.

    Couldn’t have been happier with the wonderful food, Mountain View’s, spectacular service- our waitress was super patient and helpful and all four of us had different dishes and cocktails and all were scrumptious! Great place to go on a cold day too as it’s bright and cheerful

    We first went about a year ago and assumed the poor quality of the food and service was a result of staff shortages related to the pandemic. We gave it another shot last night and were left equally disappointed. First, we had to ask for help in getting served. We had been siting for over 20 minutes and no one even came our way. A bit surprised by the very limited menu options and price of certain dishes, we nonetheless ordered plates we are familiar with (since we lived in a Cuban community many years). The food was bland, dry, overcooked. The standard staple, black beans and rice, was not even authentic in flavor or preparation. The black beans were dry and seemed out of a can. The rice, by far, was the biggest disappointment. Uncle Ben’s rice is never part of the authentic Cuban cuisine. Hate to say it, but won’t be back. I am not one to regret paying for good quality food but when we got the bill, knowing the average cost of those dishes was like a punch in the gut. Such a waste of beautiful real estate. Can’t imagine it is sustainable. Proceed at your own risk.
