Good and bad throughout the meal. Ambiance is nice! Service was good, not great. Food was nothing to boast about if I was the chef. The occasion was my birthday. This was our 2nd time dining at H&S. The first experience was great. Ordered an “Extra Dry Vodka Martini” - the martini was made with so much vermouth I had to send it back. The 2nd martini was great. Ordered a Ceasar Salad - tasted good but over saturated in dressing. Not good. I ordered the Swordfish Cassoulet as recommended by our server - the cassoulet was so salty I couldn’t eat it. The swordfish was cooked perfectly but unfortunately it was served in a sea of incredibly salty cassoulet. My wife ordered the Half Baked Red Snapper - the snapper was well cooked but soaked in so much butter she only ate a third of it. I requested the server and manager to ask the chef to taste his/her cassoulet to see if there might be an error in the seasoning. To my knowledge that was not done and definitely not communicated with me. To appease us, we were given a complimentary dessert (I would assume we would have gotten a complimentary dessert because it was my birthday. There was no mention of the special occasion from anyone.). The check was presented with the dessert added to the check and both martinis (bad one sent back and the good one I drank). Once brought to the server’s attention they were taken off the check. Needless to say not a good dining experience.

Very noisy! Our lovely server was very nice. I ordered a Caesar Salad which was way too spicy- definitely not a traditional Caesar, so they should change the name since it was not a Caesar salad. The half baked red snapper dish was fabulous- I’d come back for that!

Good food. Had the tomato appetizer. It was a bit heavy on sauce but flavorful. Also had the seafood pasta which was filled with lobster and also very flavorful. The ambiance and service was nice. It was a bit loud. Overall nice experience

We had a positive experience with the ambiance and service during our visit last night, but the overall food quality fell below our expectations. The ceviche was dry and needed more moisture and flavor, while the beef carpaccio, though good, wasn't memorable. For our child, the cheese pizza was noticeably greasy. Among our main courses, the red snapper was just okay, and the Berkshire pork was the best of the bunch, though it didn't stand out. Given the pricing, the food quality wasn't above the middle, and we would give the restaurant six and a half stars out of ten.

The food was delicious, but in terms of portion and value, a little over priced—especially the sea bass. Server Andrea was phenomenal!!Ambiance was delightful!!
