Great spot for a date night and the mussels & marinara is delicious! Their Fall drink menu is creative, too!

Father's Day was very busy here so service was a bit slow but we are never in a hurry - the food is always good here!

This was our first time eating at this restaurant. We were greeted very warmly as we arrived early for our reservation. The waitress was kind and helpful as we viewed the menu for the first time. We made our choices and the food was delivered hot and timely. The food was outstanding & delicious from soup, appetizer, entree and dessert. We will return to Hilltop Crab House Restaurant soon and we will be bringing friends who also enjoy great food.

Made a Mother’s Day reservation for my pregnant lady and our 3 daughters. We’re both teachers with busy schedules, so family outings like this matter to us. We chose this restaurant after seeing positive OpenTable and TikTok reviews, and my lady was especially excited to try the crab mac and cheese. We had a 7 PM reservation and arrived around 7:14 PM due to family visiting from out of town delaying us. OpenTable still showed reservations after 7 PM, so we did not think being slightly late would be an issue. When we arrived, I accidentally entered through the bar entrance because there appeared to be multiple entrances. While asking where the hostess stand was, a man I believe was a customer said, “As long as you have those pretty girls you will always be allowed in here.” I’m sure no harm was intended, but it made us uncomfortable because our daughters are very young. At the hostess stand we were told the kitchen stopped serving at 7 PM, which confused us because we had a confirmed 7 PM reservation. The hostess was polite and said they could still seat us, but some items may not be available. At the same time, we noticed fresh trays of crabs still being served. Nobody was directly rude, but the overall atmosphere made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable, so we decided to leave. We appreciated the staff member who later came outside to reassure us, but by then the experience already felt off. Disappointing experience overall, especially after a 40-minute drive on Mother’s Day.

The restaurant is a tavern feel. Cozy atmosphere, excellent drinks and delicious food. Service wasn’t super prompt but we were not in a hurry. Band was very good, it gets loud, we enjoyed the show!
