Over dit restaurant

Juweeltje in de wijk
Lekker buiten eten
Geweldig voor creatieve cocktails

A New Chapter for Old South.

The Hitching Post Tavern merges the warmth of a traditional public house with the energy of a modern kitchen. Designed as a communal hub, the space invites you to saddle up for a quick pint or settle in for a curated feast.

We serve the food we want to eat: unpretentious, ingredient-led, and packed with flavour. Whether it’s a Tuesday night burger or a weekend celebration, the ethos remains the same: Serious food. Serious drinks. relaxed company.

Had a lovely lunch at The Hitching Post with the girls! The food was delicious, the drinks were great, and it was a perfect spot to get together and celebrate a special occasion.

Great little spot! Owner and staff were very friendly. Steak sandwich was very tasty. Prices seemed reasonable. We’ll be back for sure.

This quaint neighbourhood pub continues to impress us. The atmosphere and service is outstanding. We continue to try new items off the menu and continue to be impressed. The servers make the restaurant. They are very attentive and friendly. We will be back.

Wonderful small bar with great food, very good service and a nice ambience. If you want a table reservations are a must. There are just six tables. Will definitely go again.

I was disappointed with the meal I had. The fish was overbattered and overdone.

We love going to the hitching Post as it is a pub in our neighborhood. We love supporting local. We just found last night that the music was too loud and the restaurant was full, so it was very noisy. Hard to hear each other. They always ask when you make a reservation if you’re celebrating something special, but never do anything with that information. The service was amazing and the food was very good.

It is always a great experience! A neighbourhood restaurant with quality food, lovely décor, and great staff truly makes all the difference. It’s always our first choice when making dinner plans out. Ryan has absolutely hit the mark in creating a fantastic place to enjoy dinner, relax, and stay until close. We always know we’re going to have a great time!
