   A bit confusing when you first go into the hotel whether this is the main bar or not as the reception is hidden in the corner. Could be better set out so that reception is separate. Not much atmosphere in the bar. Website gives the impression it’s a completely different area.

   Loved every second of it! This was our second time visiting and as always the service was immaculate! One of us accidentally got chili flakes in their eye from a drink, and the staff member went their way to ask the hotel would they have eye drops.

   We stayed at the house of gods and decided to have a cocktail date n their bar. The service was very good, all the staff were friendly and attentive. The cocktail menu, like the whole place was quirky and is based around a glossy vogue type magazine, you could peruse the offerings and get happily tipsy. The ambiance was relaxed and jovial. All in all a great place for cocktails and a date.

    When we arrived, there were no other customers and only 2 showed up after. It should not have taken the staff 15 mins to take our order and then basically forgot about us. We wanted to get another drink but they never came back to our table. On the plus side, the drinks were above average.

    The atmosphere and concept at Lilibet's Lounge was lovely. The staff were lovely and friendly and very tentative. Although we felt as if it took a long time for drinks to arrive after being ordered. Everything was very reasonable priced and worth every penny! Thank you for a lovely evening.

    We loved our time at Liliths Lounge and the drinks were really good. However you could hear the Casablanca loudly through the walls and it kind of ruined the atmosphere. We also found that the chains weren’t that comfortable. It was good and I’d recommend for the experience of the Tarot cards!

    Excellent from start to finnish.service,food,five star,well worth the money,the staff could not do enough for you,made very welcome and the service is everything they promise,huge pizza,and very prompt service,very easy to find and only about 10 mins from bus station and train station,also a short walk from main shopping area and Xmas markets,rooms and hotel overall was very clean and kept up to a high standard.

    Booked liliths lounge for cocktails, drinks were nice enough but service was quite slow as they only had one person for all their tables to take orders and make drinks for the first hour we were there. As we booked through open table our table was supposed to be for a two hour slot but staff came over to us after only an hour and twenty minutes to let us know our time was up in less than ten minutes which left us feeling very awkward. We were allowed to stay for the full two hours after showing the staff the reservation id made but not a great experience overall. Also a couple of hours after leaving the bar I received an email receipt which wasn’t for any drinks that we had ordered either.

    Quirky bar with a nice selection of cocktails. Service was very slow also there wasn’t any ingredients for their signature cocktail. We waited 20 minutes for our first drink and ended up having to go ourself to the bar. Something not expected somewhere where it’s £50 for 4 drinks. This is a great bar/hotel with a great idea. It could do so well in Edinburgh. It was such a shame the service was poor as the score would be completely different. We want this place to be great. Please sort your service

    Love this bar! The cocktails are reasonably priced for a boutique bar and always taste great. Staff are friendly and the service is always great. (Haven’t had any food, only drinks)

    The bar itself was nice and pleasant. However, the silly music choice (emo/rock metal) spoiled the ambience and I feel it did NOT match the unique aesthetic of the bar, I get that it’s on the Cowgate where there is a lot of rock/metal bars clubs, but this really was not like one of those types of bars. Since it’s novelty was the tarot cards, paranormal thing, I felt there should have been more of a gentle/fantasy style music like you’d hear in The Witcher or something a little more creepy; christ even contemporary jazz would have been better than Paramore.. The tarot cards are a fun idea, but I feel the waitress could be a bit more engaging when distributing the cards to us and make it a little more fun and quirky (all that was said was ‘pick the card you feel calls to you most..’ sell that more and make it a bit more fun! Plus we realised that not all the cards are different (we were given approx 8 cards to choose from) as my partners card was actually the same drink as our friend, just a different picture. I only put 1 star down for food as there was no choice to select if you didn’t have any food at all. No idea if they sell food. The bar really is very nice and unique and the cocktails were actually pretty good. The ambience and lack of engagement on the tarot theme was what spoiled it for us. However, if you like Emo Metal music meshed with a small classy looking bar, then this is the place for you!

    Absolutely beautiful bar! Took my partner here for her birthday and we had both been stunned by how brilliant this place is. They have a whole amazing experience on how you get your cocktails and all the staff are so personable and lovely. The music and atmosphere was fantastic, we both had a brilliant time.

    Loved the look and atmosphere of this bar. It's boujie without being pretentious, opulent and yet still relaxed. The service was second to none. Bar staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. The cocktails pack a punch, are well made and the flavour combinations are excellent. You're paying for the quality here and the quality shows. Love this place.

    The lounge was quiet and we had planned a romantic evening before going out. The tables are very close to others and unfortunately this made our visit short and sweet. The neighbouring table we’re playing loud videos on their phone and FaceTiming. It was very distracting and we struggle to hear ourselves talk over their noise so drank up and headed back to our room to change.
