I attended my reservation, we were seated and no one came to serve us for 30 mins so we left. I wouldn’t recommend and I won’t be back

Disappointing. Cheap decor, plastic plants and 80s Italian restaurant vibes. With the exception of the bar staff the rest were awful - they maybe want to take a trip up to Dakota to see how it’s done

Not great, food was extremely below par. The croquettes were absolutely nothing to write home about, nor was the bread and hummus and the skinny fries were inedible as they weren’t cooked. When we asked about it it the waitress said she’d remove from the bill but never brought another portion. So we left hungry. It is plastic flower overload and the one loo, which is unisex, for a restaurant is borderline uncivilised. Especially when you are waiting in the corridor for it to become free and the chef/kitchen person walks out and you didn’t hear the hand drier being used. It’s overhyped and really poor. The staff were nice and cocktails were very nice but that is all

The light bites menu was delicious and well presented. Served promptly by friendly communicative staff. Spending time in glorious sunlight in the rooftop area was fabulous but the contrasting darkness of the inner stairwell was problematic, leaving the entire party to walk gingerly in the dark to toilet or the lift. Perhaps on a typical grey Scottish day the contrast is less and it poses no issues. Overall an excellent experience.

We waited for our table for over 30 minutes. No one bothered to come and apologise, otherwise we would have continued to wait. So we just left.

We were sat at a table near the door, with horrible stools. Had to wait ages for someone to take our drink order. Had one drink and left.

Staff was fantastic however think House of Gods is little over hyped. Decor was okay just had higher expectations and didn’t think it was that great.

Outside rooftop disappointingly closed. No cheese (?) therefore no cheeseboard available. Nice sunny space.

Seated for drinks, waited 20 minutes for our order to be taken. Wasn't that busy and two servers seemed to be wandering around aimlessly. We weren't the only table waiting that long either. Extremely loud group of girls seated near us who seemed to know a staff member, their noise was off putting and helped with our decision to only stay for one drink. I ordered a Rock the Casbah, when my drink arrived it was only three quarters full and didn't have the piece of Turkish delight garnish it was supposed to have. Shame, place looked really nice but I won't hurry back.

Didn’t have food just in for drinks with colleagues after work. Super impressed with the decor and ambiance, staff very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. It was my first time there and will defo go back with my wife and overnight stay soon.
