Absolutely loved my visit to Iberica Canary Wharf. I was greeted and shown to my table on the second floor. As I walked in the food smelt amazing. Service was fast and the staff were all so helpful. Most importantly the food was so good! Can't wait to visit again soon :)
Dear Fern, The team here at Iberica of Canary Wharf thanks you for the beautiful review. We are fortunate enough to work with such a team of stars who put their love into not only the amazing food we serve but also the guests we meet everyday. Your comments are highly appreciated and we are all looking forward to seeing you again. Kind regards' Maria Batista Deputy GM
Food was tasty, portion size even for tapas was small
Service AWFUL, we waited over 30mins for a menu and not through lack of asking, then while eating we wanted more drinks or more of a certain dish you had to be sharp to catch the passing staff who seemed determined to avoid eye contact. Don’t know it’s because they were quite in a Friday night.
One of the very few times that I have asked for the discretionary service charge (£32.50 in this instance) to be removed from the bill.
Very nice and relaxed place for a sharing food experience.
Superb food, service and vibe. Great wine as well
This is an excellent venue. The food was very tasty and there was a great variety. Also a good choice of wines, so all in all a very good place to dine
We were going to a concert at the O2 Arena and tapas was the perfect early evening meal. The wine was fabulous too!!
Venue and ambience are great, but the food quality was below average. My steak was very fatty and didn't come with vegetable mash as advertised on the menu. Padron peppers were a bit soggy. My friend's fish had too many bones inside. The service was excellent - our waiter did an amazing job and front door very welcoming.
This restaurant really needs to step up the food game. I would recommend comparing to Donostia (tapas restaurant in Marylebone) - significantly better quality!
Lovely food as always. Service a bit patchy and slow. We went for lunch so maybe thats why - but a bit awkward when entertsining guests - I arrived early and they basically ignored me until the rest of my party arrived - a drink while I waited woudl havebeen nice
Not enough options for a vegetarian pregnant lady
Enjoyable dinner. Ambience was good and also not overly busy even on a thurs
By far one of our favouritr restaurants in London. My girlfriend even celebrated her Birthday there. Love this place
Food was great. Real spanish tapas dishes. They are not very large, so make sure to order enough different ones. But then again, that's part of the fun, trying all these different things.
Waiters were a bit overwhelmed, but always friendly.
The only thing I will never get used to in any British restaurant, is the noise. I'm not used to almost shooting at moments, just to have a normal conversation. But that is not typical to this restaurant alone. it is typical to the entire London night scene I guess.
A very busy evening, hence were given a tiny table for 3 people which was a constant shuffling of plates and dishes. Also some of the usual favourit tapas were not available. That was quite disappointing. However, as always, everything was very tasty and wine recommendations superb.
One of my favourite places to visit in Canary wharf.
The atmosphere is vibrant and casual but still poses its elegance.
Lovely restaurant. Good was fantastic and the staff did a great job recommending wine and what god to chose. It’s not cheap but it was worth it.
Thank you OpenTable Diner, for taking the time to share your experience at Iberica Canary Wharf with my team. We’re glad to hear that you liked our wine and food recommendations. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Kind regards, Maria Amador Batista Deputy GM
One of the best tapas restaurant in London . High recommended
Ambience, good. Service, good. Food, not my taste.
Too salty paella, too small portion of dishes compared with the price. My uncle literally ordered fries to make him feeling full (and I think we four ordered quite a lot...?)
Tasty tapas, great service, 5/5
Good quality Tapas venue in the heart of the business district. We enjoyed shared dishes for lunch and some excellent Spanish wines by the glass. All the classic Tapas dishes were available but the chef's specials made it distinctive. We liked lobster with fatty pork, crispy 'confit' artichoke and well marinated anchovies.
Disappointing menu selection - the menu has changed since my previous visit. Needs far more Tapas dishes and less large meals. Bring back the Chorizo Lollipops, calamari etc.
We went on Saturday evening post movies, arrived just after 8:30. Looked like a good date night venue, but found it lacked atmosphere. The tapas options were great, but the paella was burnt. Then around 10:00, the staff started to pack the restaurant up around all the patrons still dining. Overall not a great venue for Saturday evening's 👎😞
The food was not particularly great - lacked flavour and the crispy aubergine extremely greasy.
Food was poor; venue was very cold.
Service staff were pleasant.
Excellent place to catch up with friends over a fabulous selection of tapas. Convivial atmosphere, but with plenty of space. Great selection of wines and great service. Top class.
I've been to Iberica many times, but if this was my first, I wouldn't go back. We felt rushed throughout. The staff were very friendly but kept rushing us to order the food and then the dessert. The kitchen closed soon after we arrived - why taking late bookings to then rush customers?
The squid and prawns were very average, the steak tiny but good. The croquetas and bravas delicious. The rest of dishes were good.
It was a huge disappointment. There's a hair among the fish in the egg omelette half way through it. My boyfriend ate the eggs and refused to touch the cods after that. The octupus was cooked really well though, so not sure how I should rate this meal.
Nice relaxed atmosphere, staff were friendly and helpful. Would happily visit again
We have been here for last 2 years and will definitely book again food great, service great,
Hola JaneM Muchas Gracias for your 5 stars review an amazing feedback. We are very happy to hear how much you enjoy our food and service in your visits. We are looking forward to continue welcoming you at Iberica Canary Wharf. Best, Elena Madruga General Manager
Highlight of a weekend trip to London.
The food is delicious especially the croquettes. The food is brought to you over time so you're not swamped and dishes don't go cold. Lovely staff especially Maria and the young man who served her tables.
i've used to regard Iberica as one of my favourite spanish restaurants in London. I've taken there parents, in-laws, close friends and husband on many occasions and it had always been outstanding. Quiet, great home made food, great menu and great service.
What a shame that this is no longer the case... not only the Spanish omelette had zero flavour and was undercooked, or under heated as we asked for it to be send again and it was same thing, the menu had changed for a lower value higher priced, the venue was extremely noisy with music, the service was rushed and the quality had degraded massively.
Sorry Iberica, you won't see me again; get back into improving your quality in all aspects or you will keep losing customers.
Went there a few weeks ago. The tapas was really nice and authentic. Highly recommend the octopus and pig chin, never had such a delicious cuisine before. Will definitely visit again.
Do not waste your time and money at Iberica Canary Wharf - food average tapas at best and service was not top notch. Go to Barafina if you want good tapas in London.
The menu has changed and nothing other than the crockets were memorable. Very pricey for the quality and taste of the food served. I will not be returning or recommending this pace any longer
The food here is very expensive for what it is and the tables crammed in in a cafe style which would be fine in a cheaper tapas cafe but not when spending this much.
We ordered 8 plates between 3 which was not really enough and even those were strung out over a long period so we weren't really mixing and matching flavours but eating a whole plate at a time so it didn't get cold.
Hola alisonr, It is unpleasant to hear that you've had a disappointing experience as we work hard to ensure all our guest are comfortable and happy. It seems like the menus were not explained to yourselves too well. All our dishes are delivered to the table as they are ready so it means each dish has a different timing therefore not all the food will arrive to your table together. We hope you give us another chance in the future to show you what a real Iberica experience is like. Elena Madruga
Recently visited Iberica with my partner and was truly impressed.
We were greeted and made to feel welcome immediately by the host and shown to the table and handed over to our waiter Rafik.
From here the food and service experience was great. Rafik catered to all our needs, he helped suggesting food, and even went to the kitchen a few times to ask about certain things such as, asking what the brand of Olive Oil they serve with the bread was as this was just fantastic. He had a sound knowledge on the regions of the food, especially being from Spain himself. He was very proud to pass on this knowledge. This only made us feel more comfortable and enjoyed the experience more. This guy was great. As the restaurant and his section got busier, this did not mean the service started to go down. He was managing his section so well, actually would have been nice to see maybe one of his colleagues asking him if he needed a hand.
The only downfall came towards the last half hour of our night. We were already informed right from when we walked in that our table would have been needed in about 1.5 hours from the time we arrived. We told the host this was absolutely fine, and we didn’t plan to stay for a long meal. We did not like the fact that the host just came right to us and once again reminded us and hurried us that the table is needed in half an hour. If this was needed in a couple of minutes and the people were waiting I would understand. I would suggest maybe next time rather than coming directly to us, for her to go up to Rafik who was taking care of us and ask at what stage of the meal we have arrived and how we been doing. On that point, two other tables of 2 near us had not even half of the amount of food and drink we had, so the money made from our table compared to the other two is something else maybe to take into consideration. Our spend per head was about £80 were other tables im sure didn’t come even half as close. So who should you really rush away?
Hola KIaraN, Thank you very much for your review! We will pass on your wonderful praise to Rafik and ensure we reward him for this hard work! he really is super! We are very sorry to hear that you felt rushed on the evening,we do not intend our guest to ever feel that way.We do remind return times of the table to all our guest to avoid delays and long waits, specially on the busiest time of the year as it is on Christmas. We hope to see you again soon. Elena Madruga General Manager
Overall the food is quite fine, but not the best tapas I would like to go again. But will not say no to it if people around me want to go or try.
Dear OpenTable Diner Thank you for your taking the time to review your experience with us. We hope we can welcome you another time soon. Best, Elena Madruga
Great experience. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The food was delicious, choose to come here for a anniversary dinner and it was the perfect choice. I would highly recommend their ARUCAS TAI cocktail.
Thank you very much JosephD for your great and positive review about your anniversary dinner with us. We are very happy to hear that you've had a good night :) And thank you for the cocktail recommendation, I love it as well but if you do visit us again, I recommend you to try our new PXpresso Martini..our Spanish Festive version of the classic Espresso Martini.. perfect drink to finish your meal :) Looking forward to welcoming you again soon.
