ordered 6 dishes they all came at differant time with big waites in between.
We ordered the mussels and more than 50% were still closed and the suase was cold.
It is te 1st time i have not left a tip.
We did not complain as it was busy and one would not like to make a scene.
Very stylish restaurant, friendly staff and delicious tapas. I would recommend a visit.
Exceptionally good food and the 50% January tapas sale is great value!
What a lovely setting spoiled by cold /lukewarm food. Had to send one dish back but the others were a bit on the cool side too. Such a shame. So couldn’t recommend it to anyone solely because of that.
Another great meal at Iberica best tapas ever
Despite the restaurant being empty and staff not being busy, the mushroom tapas arrived tepid, not hot, having been standing around for a while, No one asked if it was OK and I had to draw their attention to my dissatisfaction. It was replaced. Had to wait a long time to get the bill and then staff seemed more interested in chatting to themselves. I just left the cash and went with no sign of anyone to acknowledge my departure. Management needs to get a grip on this place which is beautifully designed and has really good food when served on time.
Visited January 2019 in order to enjoy the 50% discount offer. The portion size was not great and I strongly suspect that these were "altered" to reflect the price reduction. I was grateful that I was not paying full price for some of the meagre portions provided. While benefitting from the discount the total bill for 4 was c£160 with alcohol accounting for c£65 of this expenditure.
As always with tapas dishes were rather hit and miss.
Despite restaurant being extremely busy service was overall excellent although initial drinks order took some time to arrive.
Food was amazing, service excellent - had a wonderful visit. Will definitely be back!
A nice tapas place in central Glasgow. The decor is great and the service was excellent. The Tapas, while not the best I have ever tasted, was still good. The wine selection was great and the staff very knowledgeable
Great Tapas restuarant one of the best in Glasgow
Every aspect of our meal was excellent - plenty of attentive, knowledgeable staff, beautiful interesting Spanish tapas, great wine list to choose from, lovely atmosphere. Well worth a visit.
Lovely meal and wine! Every dish we ordered was delicious! The secreto Iberian pork was to die for! Highly recommend!
The food was nice, although a lot of the options were not available so choice was limited.
Service was really not good. We were left waiting at various points of the meal and the staff were difficult to get a hold of whilst sitting down. Examples are: No menus until about 15 mins of sitting at the table. Our bottle of wine was kept away from the table but not topped up (should have just left it on the table), the bill was wrong, and I ended up walking to the desk to get our change because they didn’t bring it over.
Went on the pre theatre deal, were given wrong menu and told at first that it wasn't an option. Drinks took about 20 mins, food for 2 out of 9 plates in 45 mins, waited nearly another 30 for the next batch. Another 20 mins for dessert and second drink got forgotten about. Then tried to charge us full price on the bill instead of pre theatre price. Service far too slow, an early meal took over 2 hours to get through. Others around were also waiting a long time and dishes arrived quite some time apart.
The food was absolutely fantastic and I couldn't fault it. My only criticism would be that one of the gentlemen serving us, sadly stank of body odour, which put us of ever so slightly
Really delicious food and great service despite being a busy Saturday in December. We were seated to our table late but the server poured each of our party a glass of prosecco to apologise. Nice touch.
Nice place and the service was good. The food was good but no nicer than some more reasonably priced (and equally as good if not better) Tapas restaurants in the area.
excellent food and wine service great no complaints.
It was a busy Friday night so some slack allowed but food arrived somewhat haphazardly and was not as hot as it should have been but flavour and quality were good and ambience excellent. Well worth a visit.
Delicious food. Service was prompt. Would recommend.
Great tapas, very attentive and excelllent service will be back
Took ages to greet , then even longer for drinks .had to send bill back twice
We have been here twice before and have had great meals. This time was very disappointing. Food was not hot, it was over priced for the portions, i.e £5 for a slice of tomato bread is outrageous. That is just one example. There are more. We had to send one plate back as it was cold. We requested salt and pepper which was never brought. We were never asked how our meal was after getting back the cold tapas. Very poor, we will not be back.
The restaurant was very good overall with very good authentic food and great service. However, there were significant errors on the check that they didn't resolve to our satisfaction. So be careful and check the bill for accuracy with the menu.
Great food and wine, and top notch knowledgeable service. This is the best Tapas I have had in Scotland, clearly made with great care and an understanding of the cuisine. I highly recommend Iberica.
Food was uniformly excellent. We were dining quite early on a Sunday evening so restaurant was more or less empty when we walked in, but filled up over the course of our meal. Service was friendly and polite throughout, but a little slow/inattentive - just one server for a large-ish section, so we waited quite a while for the table to be cleared after courses, to order dessert etc. We were having a fairly leisurely dinner so not much of a problem, but would have been irritating if under any time pressure.
Meal itself very good quality, both food and drinks.
Excellent tapas and selection of wine. Would love to try more in future..
Iberica is always buzzing with a great atmosphere-they change the menu enough to offer new experiences but keep the favourites that you don't get tired of.
Had Prohicion wine for the first time and it was so good -very smooth but full bodied.
I visited on Saturday 1st December with my two daughters and one of their friends. Service good, food good and staff friendly and polite. This was my third visit and will not be my last.
Fantastic food, friendly and helpful staff, great meal!
Food was cold. Service was really slow. Table booked for 7,30 and most of our food arrived around 9pm. Manager didn’t really pacify us however we did get a slight reduction on our bill. Won’t be returning any time soon.
Great meal. Great service. Amazing building and interior decor.
Downside is that it isn't cheap. Each lunch tapas was close to the price of a meal in a 'normal' restaurant (£8ish). The waiter recommended we have 2 or 3 each, so before drinks, our bill (for 2 people) was £50!
Still a very nice lunch!
The food and wine were great but I was slightly disappointed in the prawn dish where I was expecting something different from the dish than was served. Considering the restaurant was very busy they did a really good job.
I attended a gin tasting night a few weeks ago as a first date and that very good 😎
First time in restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Food very good, wine menu good too. Staff very pleasant and attentative. Will definitely be back.
We (3) had a really enjoyable meal on Saturday night. Good seats, vibrant atmosphere and lovely setting.
Food from tapas menu was delicious and we especially loved the black rice, twice cooked lamb, artichoke hearts and pear and spinach salad. As usual with tapas, we over ordered and I would suggest selecting a few dishes then adding as required.
Wine on the pricey side but quality good. Leo from Porto was an entertaining and knowledgable wine waiter.
Thoroughly enjoyable overall experience.
Recommended by my daughter and was pleased with the meal. We were looking for tapas and were pleased with the choices. We did take the mixed starter but it was not great. Will not take it next time. Chicken was a bit dry but fish was wonderful. Would take another extra tapas instead of the starter next time. Watch out for the side door entrance as this allowed cold air in from time to time but it was November after all.
My companion arrived on time and I was 10 mins late. After another 10 mins we still hadn't had a drinks order taken so I had to approach a member of staff to ask to order drinks and to receive menus.
My 3 courses were good though the final dish didn't come until 7pm - 1 hour after arriving.
The sweet menu was a little disappointing and the churros merely ok.
Tasty food, but not very satisfying if you’re hungry - after having 6 tapas between 2, and then desert, we still felt hungry! Also expensive considering we didn’t feel full.
Really enjoyed our birthday celebration meal here. Great seasonal tapas as well as the regular menu and the two vegetarians were pleased with the choices for them. Good waiter and delighted with the complimentary cava to celebrate!
Amazing food and drink. Atmosphere was great and staff were very tentative. Would definitely recommend this restaurant
