Consistently magnificent. Leo and his team provide a fantastic environment to enjoy their great food
Has somewhat lost its uniqueness. Everything from food to service was average. Nice place but we sat at a table where pillows were ripped to shreds why don’t they just throw them out. Service again average and some of the food was below average. Shame I used to love Ibérica.
Very positive representation of Iberia-in-Glasgow. Particularly enjoyed the current Galician specials
I have already recommended Iberica to a friend and they also loved it. I will be back!
Excellent food and wine with great service but it does come at a price however worthy of any special occasion
Good food and buzzy atmosphere.
Booked for lunch and we were warmly welcomed by the staff. Helpful tips on ordering quantities and guidance on sequence of dishes being served. The restaurant is attractively presented with a comfortable bar area adjacent to the dining section. Overall a good experience with great food.
The empanada was not very good. The padrones didn´t taste that well (but we can assume that it is not the place and time to order them). anyway, you should remove them from the menu if they are no good enough. The tortilla was bad. We´ve been to the Iberica before and the tortilla use to be good. It was dry and it looked like it was re-heated or it had been cooked in the oven.
The selection of cheeses was very good.
We had to wait way too much to pay and we could only do that when we stand up and took our jackets to leave.
Great food and atmosphere with helpful staff, but a wee bit pricey. Was happy that we were allowed to stay after closing time (10:00?) but would return.
Enjoyable first visit to Iberica. Excellent food apart from one chicken and rice dish which was a bit bland. Service a little slow at times but busy Saturday night so to be expected, and we were in no hurry.
Cannot believe I have never been here before !! Best tapas I have ever had, the staff were wonderful and the decor was just stunning ! We will 100% be back ASAP ! X
Food was largely good, just missing being great. Tempura monkfish had a fantastic flavour but tempura was undercooked. Prawns similar, great flavour but not quite perfectly cooked. Service was really good. Nice place for dinner.
A new discovery for us thanks to the theatre deal. It was a great experience. We'll be back.
This was our first time at Iberica and we had a great time. The service was a bit slow to start but overall they were attentive. The food recommendations by staff were great and we enjoyed the food immensely.
We will definitely visit again.
As always, great food and service. Sundays are great for this place
The food was fabulous, our waiter was very knowledgable and all the staff added to the authentic ‘spanish’ feeling of this tapas restaurant. I would definitely recommend and will be back again.
This is one of Glasgows best spanish experiences
Food amazing explosion of flavour with each tapa
Staff very attentive and welcoming
Had. Lovely meal with family and friends. Food was delicious although menu is small compared with other tapas places I have been. Wine and drink selection very good. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Took the time to explain the menu etc... Restaurant was clean and tidy as was the toilets which were unusual but very nice. All in a very good experience if on the slightly expensive side of dining out. Would go back and would recommend.
An amazing restaurant let down by a few missteps with the food. We ordered the calamari and it was salty to the point of revulsion. Perhaps someone made a mistake and salted it twice. Food was a good overall. The meal was more expensive than I would have liked. We will be back tho.
Great place to catch up with my sister. Really enjoyed the lunch time tapas and a glass of rose fizz. Service excellent with knowledgable staff.
My second visit there. Food is amazing. Staff are amazing. Lovely environment. And the icing on the cake was a free desert and shot after one of our main dishes was delayed for a while - minor mix up and we didn’t even complain.
We’ll definitely be back soon.
Special mention for our awesome waiter Matteo 👍😊
Thanks for making my birthday special.
Great meal and very good service,
We ate in the Leeds branch a few weeks ago and it was outstanding so we were really looking forward to trying somewhere closer to home. There was no interest or coordination from the staff whatsoever, they just couldn't have cared less. The food was ok, but not as good as Leeds. What a pity.
Food was excellent with the exception of the lollipop chorizo was a bit of a let down.
We were sat next to a large party which was a bit noisy.
Compared to other tapas restaurants it was a bit pricey.
I had a salad that cost 6 pounds and something and it was the tiniest thing ever.
My husband had the cheese trio after his meal. OMG! The slices were almost see through!!
Quality was good and so was service but saying it was overpriced is an understatement.
My experience was very bad in general. I'm from Valencia and when I read in the menu "We serve traditional Valencian dry-style paellas" I ordered one intermediately. The Valencian paella is complete ally dry and that sentence convinced us. When they serve +d the paella I was very disappointed, the paella had different ingredients and, it was not dry at all.
They are clearly cheating on purpose, otherwise you don't write "Valencia dry paella" in the menu.
To be hones the "Pulpo" was nice but I don't like to go to places that are not honest trying to confuse clients to make money.
Said it all in stars awarded
My experience at Iberica was only average. We waited a while to be given menus and when we went to order drinks, one of the three bottled beers was not available (I personally think restaurants shouldn't ever run out of one of their choices of alcohol, especially on a Friday night). Then, when we ordered our food, we were informed there was no calamari left. Then, when it came to dessert, one of the desserts was unavailable too. I was disappointed as this was in three areas where we had limited options. I also think the option to only have gin as a double in unreasonable, as I would never drink a double measure with a meal and I don't think many would. We also had issues with our antipasti being served after our tapas (the server was very apologetic and they gave us bread and olive oil to apologise). Whilst the food was lovely, we were disappointed at the fact the restaurant had run out of several options (our table was booked for 7pm on Friday). As there was issues with service too, we think that the restaurant was understaffed.
The food was very disappointing.
It’s an interesting place to eat
Tapas were very food and well prepared
The only deception was the dessert
Service was very good at the beginning when the place wasn’t so busy then it became slow
Very fry though
Lovely meal with good service - I will go back (again)
Besides the restaurant being too warm temperature wise, we had a great time! The food was very delicious and the service great. Even received a complimentary glass of champagne for the occasion being our anniversary. Will return again!
A new one for us in Glasgow, good food, would come back again and try some of the other options we did not have this time.
Very good service and great food no complaints :))
We were disappointed in the service provided. The paella dish was supposedly ordered and when we had eaten our other dishes we were told there was a delay and eventually the waiter advised that it hadn't in fact been ordered. In fairness to the company, we were not charged for any of the food provided. Not sure that we would recommend the restaurant to others.
A chance to savour some delicious Tapas in very pleasant surroundings. Pleasant staff although as I am hard of hearing there was some difficulty with the language
Great atmosphere and service brilliant food, will be back 😫
Fabulous food with great flavour served by friendly staff who are happy to discuss the ingredients and wine to match
Been several times. Love the food.
Food was great and full of flavour. Staff very helpful and patient with explanations. Be brave and try new dishes - you won’t be disappointed.
