   This was our first time visiting. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Food was amazing- we ordered the Lobster Manicotti and Barbacoa, with almond cake and toffee pie to take home for later. Everything was tasty and delicious. The only thing I would change is where we were seated. We were super close to a table of 4 and their conversation was a little distracting. There were plenty of other tables, so I'm not sure why we were seated so close, but it did make for an awkward date night! Overall, I would recommend this place!

   Wonderful food, a nice mix of vegetarian and vegan options as well as animal based proteins, we started with the beets Napoleon (superb) and the fried oyster mushrooms (ridiculously good) had the grilled mushroom and spanakopita(one of the best I've ever had) and finished with a delicious rice pudding, our waitress Abby took great care of us and was quite knowledgeable about the menu, and all during our wonderful meal there was a live musician playing 10/10 from the food to the service to the ambience, can't wait to come back

   Food and service were great as usual, as I am a big fan of Irregardless. However, this time the music & restaurant noise was far too loud for us to talk while at the table.... I was disappointed as it's usually more conducive to conversation and I had guests for whom this was a first visit. Have you removed some of the noise absorption materials from the restaurant?

   I was surprised by the lack of seasoning in most of the items. The vegan calamari was quite good but the other items were just ok.

   Every thing we ate was simply delicious. We had the hummus, the vegan calamari (mushroom), the chicken, the salmon, the vegan sweet potato dish, and the ribeye. We had the warm pound cake for dessert and a couple of glasses of the Josie wine. So good. Service was excellent and they had a young man playing a keyboard live. Just a nice place all around. May be our new favorite restaurant in Raleigh.

   The server and service were good. The lighting was such that I had a difficult time reading the menu. The entertainer was very good. The other noise however made the noise level very loud. The real disappointment was the food. Three of us had dishes that were mediocre. The dish I had was inedible. The waitress tried to help but there was nothing she could do except for replacing the dish with something else, but that was late in the evening and I didn’t want to inconvenience the rest of the party.

    Two people had the Lobster Manicotti, which was tasty, and added a side of vegetables. The filling was not adequate for the size of the pasta shell, so that was a bit disappointing. Two people had the Mustard Crusted Salmon which also was tasty. The brussel sprouts were not a big hit but the butternut squash was wonderful. One person had the vegan Peanut Pad Thai with tofu. The tofu was not seasoned well but overall it was a good meal. For a party of 5 there was an automatic 20% tip added to our check. Overall, we thought that was a bit much without informing us prior to ordering.

    We do not live in Raleigh but we have dined at Irregardless many times over the years and have enjoyed many good meals there. Unfortunately our most recent experience was not one of those good meals. Our server was very good but the wait for dishes, with one exception, was very long. I ordered spanakopita, which has been on their menu since the 1970s. I have had that dish there many times before and what I was served bore no resemblance to the spanakopita I remembered there, and I left half of it uneaten. We were astonished at the increase in prices since the last time we dined there. Also, the restaurant’s Open Table listing states there is free parking in a lot across the street, which we have used before, but when we pulled into the lot, it is now a pay parking lot. We did not have time to drive around looking for free parking. All in all a very disappointing experience at a restaurant that has been for years one of our favorites.

    I am literally astounded by the quality of both food and people we encountered during our reservation Saturday morning. We sat outside where it was absolutely beautiful, and the music was never too loud, literally *just* right to still have fantastic conversation but still be able to recognize and enjoy the music. Everyone who interacted with our table was unendingly kind and helpful. The gluten free options are endless and the vegan options sound SO GOOD that I am the barest whisper away from ordering a mushroom instead of chicken with my next meal. The drinks were phenomenal and well balanced. A true gem, worth 20 stars, and I don't think I'll be going more than 2 weeks between visits from now on.

    Our server was amazing! My mother in law has celiac and she made sure to ask all the right questions! They were extremely tolerant to my 10 month old as well! Food came out on point as well as wine! We will definitely be back again. Super friendly staff!

    We came for lunch because we were absolutely craving their food but only complaint has to be that all our starters and entrées came to the table at once so made it a little hard to enjoy when you’re rushing through your starter to have your entrée while it’s still hot

    This place never disappoints! It is one of my absolute favorites to eat brunch and dinner at! The food is amazing and fresh, I love how there is live music, and the service is always welcoming and great! Definitely would recommend this place to everyone! <333

    It's been years since I had brunch at Irregardless Cafe. Food was excellent and the server was friendly, personable and attentive. Unfortunately, the noise level was annoying and at a volume that was almost like people yelling at one another vs pleasant dining conversation. Would like to suggest making a reservation and arriving before 12N.

    Well, our waiter had hair hanging in his face and he was continually pushing it out of his eyes. Very unappetizing for someone who is handling food. Focaccia was very disappointing, chicken was dry and presentation was missing. Company was excellent though!

    Would 100% eat here again the next time life brings me to Raleigh. We ran a couple minutes late for our reservation. No big deal. We called and they accommodated and our table was ready as soon as we got there. Venue was busy as it should be because it’s phenomenal. Even at full capacity, service did not suffer. Food was super quick and delicious. Staff was very friendly. Live music was fantastic as well. A+++++ establishment!

    Pad Thai was insanely sour, cook must of dumped half the bottle of vinegar. When we commented about it, the waiter brought out the recipe to show us that there was vinegar in it. Very condescending. Also, saw someone else receive a free birthday dessert, and although stated it was my birthday, was not offered anything. So expensive for this poor of quality, definitely not worth it.

    This was our first visit to this restaurant. We absolutely loved it. The options were original and delicious. Hard to decide what to order. The menu options were not overwhelming and were told they change seasonally. They had a guitarist and singer that was so lovely and not too loud that we couldn’t talk. Overall, this was a fabulous place and we are definitely coming back!!

    Fantastic option for gluten free diners. So much stuff on the menu is gluten free, including menu items that are not typically an option. We had brunch and I had gluten free chicken and waffles that was so good! I also had a Bloody Mary which is hard to find gluten free at most restaurants.

    We decided to try Irregardless because of the menu choices. We were not disappointed!!! Everything we ordered (chicken roulade, beet salad with chicken, scallops and risotto, wine, mixed drinks) was mouth watering. Service was awesome. Ambiance was on point and just a generally relaxing atmosphere. It was our first visit but definitely won’t be our last!!!

    Only negative was they brought our meals out too quickly following appetizer. Decided not to finish appetizer since it was cold after eating meal. Next time I will simply make sure waiter not bring meal until we have finished appetizer.
