   Really not sure how you plan to have a better experience than Jeffrey’s. Only my second time there, but I’m not how it could have been more enjoyable. Every detail is considered. Food is great, and every piece of the staff is seamless. Everyone should celebrate here. It’s made for it. Bravo.

    Birthday dinner. The place was packed The table was extremely small by a wall. The music was not soothing music. For a place like this, loud type music is distracting and takes away from the ambiance. Maybe they play loud sung upbeat music to deter from the noise level. Food was not out of this world for the price. The grass fed center cut filet steak was cooked as requested, but nothing I would say it was one of the best I have eaten. Extremely expensive, the mash potatoes were not over the top. The Caesar salad was very good. The soufflé tres leche dessert was not impressive. Popovers are delicious. Service was great.

    Exceptional food and service. Truly outstanding on the Austin fine dining scene. Recommend: deviled eggs with truffle, caviar service (great crepes!), Yorkshire pudding, and steak. Skip the seafood.

    Food and service is good. Energy level is low and wine prices are crazy high. I own a lot of the better wines they have and would never pay their prices. I expect a mark up but not that much.

    The food at this restaurant was excellent although the menu is somewhat limited. We arrived for a 9:45 reservation only to be told that the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes for their regular menu (which was not disclosed to us in advance). Our main server, a lovely woman from Florida, was amazing. We felt that the kitchen rushed the service given their 10 pm issue. We also had an issue with our appetizer courses being cleared before we had finished them and an issue with a male manager who had a snarky response to our complaint about same. It did not encourage a further attendance. In a restaurant of this calibre we also did not understand the loud disco music played during our meal. With the abundance of great restaurants in Austinto choose from our group will have to seriously consider whether we want to spend our money on another trip to this restaurant.

    On our first visit, the service was amazing. The valet opened my car door, we had at least 3 different staff members waiting on us (a wine captain, the waiter and a support person). The ambiance was amazing, and we could not wait to come back for such special treatment. In comparison, our visit on 3.11 was extremely disappointing. We took my mother for her 75th birthday so she could experience the same special treatment, but this time it was no better than going to Ruth Chris. When we drove up, there was only one valet on duty. He did not open the car door. Instead, he opened the front door to the restaurant and waited an awkward 5 minutes or so while we got out of the car (my mother has mobility issues and takes a bit more time getting out of the car - something the previous valet would have noticed and immediately moved to help her out of the car). The hostesses were friendly and accommodating., as were the wait staff. My main complaint is the extremely loud, obnoxious reception taking place in part of the restaurant in conjunction with SXSW. People dressed in t-shirts and blue jeans were constantly coming in and out. Their noise was distracting, and it was hard to talk at our table. The wait staff was clearly stretched thin as they were trying to take care of the party and regular diners. I'm disappointed that on her special day, my mother did not get to experience the high-end treatment that was delivered on our first visit. Hopefully, this was just unfortunate timing with SXSW, and it has not become normal.

    Hands down the best food in town with professionally trained staff. From the valet, to the host, to the servers and wine steward they are top notch. We love the foie gras, the duck breast, the dover sole and of course the fresh-from-the-over popovers! Don't miss dessert!

    Food was delicious. Seated next to a very loud large party playing videos on their phones. Service was excellent. Sides were good but lackluster, every other dish was impeccable. 42oz wagyu porterhouse did not disappoint.

    Seated too close next to a large party very loud and waiters hit our table or had their butt on the edge of our SMALL table constantly. We were at a table for 2 on the back wall and it was not enough room, and NOT a pleasant experience.. Waiter could not get things right. Salad ordered without cheese arrived with cheese for dietary restricted husband. Had no silverware when main course arrived. Disappointing after not having eaten here since before the lockdown in 2020. Birthday dinner. We made a reservation more than 6weeks in advance and had a horrible table. I cannot understand this.

    Had anniversary dinner here. Food was excellent, especially enjoyed the brussel sprouts and 16 oz. ribeye. Our table was packed in very closely to tables on either side; I found it distracting to so easily overhear neighboring tables’ conversation. Design and ambience of the restaurant was very pleasant overall, though, as was our service. Can’t go wrong choosing this place for a special occasion dinner.

    Joseph, Selena, and all the staff were extremely attentive, and polite. The dining experience was top notch, from start to finish. The quality of the food was outstanding! I would highly recommend Jeffries to anyone looking for a nice, quiet place to have a date night. I know we will be return customers

    Becca, our captain, and her assistant, were amazing! We felt well taken care of and offered wonderful recommendations. Jeffrey’s food is always amazing, but the service is what creates the experience. I wish we could come more often. I suppose we’ll find a way!

    Excellent Service. Greeted by kind hostess Waited staff were kind and efficient. Knowledgeable and extremely friendly waiter Tasty croquettes Superb ribeye - grilled to perfection. Steak was also cooked the same-juicy, tender & cut like butter. Overall 5 star experience. No room for dessert but I’m sure they are superb-next time!
