Lovely quiet place to eat with a great view of the magnificent gardens. We did find that the signage was not adequate and it was confusing as we thought the restaurant was part of the mansion.

The meal was lovely, but our waiter was new and inexperienced, we waited 20 minutes to be served, he dribbled wine down both our glasses, and a few elements were missing or came late (sauce, sides)

We celebrated my daughter’s 30th birthday with a high tea, and it was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and welcoming, and every detail felt special. The food was beautifully presented — delicate sandwiches, delicious savouries, and a stunning selection of sweets that looked almost too good to eat.

I recently enjoyed the high tea at Josephs Restaurant in the beautiful Werribee Mansion. The staff were professional, friendly, courteous, and simply lovely, truly added to the experience. The range of food was fantastic, and I absolutely loved the oysters—they were incredibly fresh and delicious. The only minor thing I would change are the scones, as they didn’t taste quite as good as the rest of the offerings. Overall, a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend!

Excellent day enjoying high tea at Joseph’s. Staff were pleasant, very attentive & customer focused. Dietary requirements were easily catered for. Overall a wonderful experience & great for celebrating a special occasion.

We enjoyed a fantastic wedding anniversary dinner at Joseph's Restaurant on Saturday night. The main course Pink Snapper was outstanding as were all of the vegetable which accompanied this. The meal came out within 15-20 minutes of our order being placed. The cheese plate we had for desert was also very good. The service from all staff at the restaurant was exceptional with all being extremely friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The ambience is great with the views from the restaurant looking out over the grounds of Werribee Mansion. We could not fault any of this dining experience and strongly recommend this to others.
