   1 star hygiene rating - 1 STAR!!!!! £20 PER PERSON if you don’t show up, £15 per person minimum spend and the food isn’t great at all! Should let people just order what they want, people can’t afford a minimum spend of £15 each! Says a lot about your restaurants if you’re charging that per person and £20 no show fee. This place needs a serious turn around, great concept but I wouldn’t recommend to anyone! So sad because the OG Karen’s diners look amazing. Would give this place 0 stars if I could. Plus it’s set me back money, a lot of money, I wish I hasn’t spent in this restaurant.

   Me an my son were in Birmingham for the Snoop Dogg concert and thought we’d give this a try, I’d seen the videos online a thought it might be a laugh. Literally the second we walked into the diner it was as if we had arrived on another planet. It was so uncomfortable in the best way, The actors/waitresses were so good, I literally wanted the world the swallow me up whenever they picked on me but it was 100% worth it for the pleasure of watching them pick everyone else in the diner, I haven’t laughed so much in ages. The food was great, We totally enjoyed the entire experience an would recommend this to anyone who hasn’t done this before. I gave the service 1 star but Ironically we wouldn’t have wanted the service any other way. We came to Birmingham for Snoop Dogg but are lasting memory of being here is Karen’s Diner 10/10

   Took my 15 year old daughter for her birthday, she was absolutely made up and wouldn't shut up all the way home saying her friends will be jealous, guess that's as good a praise as any. Everyone should experience this at least once. Thanks to the team

   We were terrified I won't lie lol Booked by choice of my daughter for her 13th Birthday. Suitably roasted birthday wishes. My older daughter was in her element and enjoyed being roasted by Jerome who did an amazing job at being awful and mean lol Would def recommend, beware if elderly or young, you will not be spared ! Really enjoyable evening, great atmosphere. Great burgers really tasty. Only downside was too much salt on the fries, be better to DIY.

   Had the best night out with a group of girls from work . Callum was amazing and entertained us all evening. . We all knew what to expect and loved the abuse. . Well done to Karen’s and especially Callum who made our visit. .

    Didn’t really enjoy we all left quite a lot of food as it was not that good my daughter didn’t even touch her burger a good waiter would of asked why so much food was left on the plates I thought the bad language was a bit much in front of young kids but I suppose that’s the purpose of the restaurant

    We went on 25th March for a birthday. From the second we walked in, until we walked out I don’t think any of us stopped laughing! The food was delicious and we were served by Callum, who was absolutely brilliant. He played a ‘Karen’ perfectly and his interaction with all the customers was hilarious. Thank you for a great night! We will be back!

    Callum was absolutely amazing!!! We went for my mom's birthday and literally laughed the whole evening. He was a brilliant server and rest of the staff were great too but he made our experience top! Never been so happy to be called a bi**h!!! 😂 Oh and shout out to how they handled the massive table of drunk difficult customers!

    Would have given more stars but man is it hard to get in contact with them. Tried many times to call/email and nothing back. Eventually, through OpenTable, they managed to get back to me and no issues. Got an email from Nikki later when it was too late quoting policy etc.. It already got sorted. Work with your customers. Ironic that the Karen restaurant had actual Karen management!!

    I'd firstly like to say my problem does not lie with the staff members, I was pleased with how this situation was dealt with. I was disappointed that I'd had no commutation 48 hours prior to my booking regarding allergies, it was only on the door that we were turned away due to my friend having a peanut allergy, in his words " (to) deny service to anyone with an allergy is excluding such a large group of people". Before I tuned up for my reservation I had been charged £10pp for two people who had to cancel due to health emergencies out of their control earlier in the week. If I did receive information about the allergy situation 48 hours before as stated by the staff last night then I would not have expected my two other guests to show up anyway as we would have chosen somewhere else, it makes me feel that I have been unfairly charged a fee for not dining at Karen's Diner in the first place. I have left messages with the restaurant team regarding my complaint and would appreciate a response. It was a disappointment to all 4 of us that showed up for this and I hope this can be resolved as I would one day like to attend the diner but overall expect some kind of compensation for a less-than-optimal evening. I have unfortunately had to click I wouldn't recommend this to a friend but just on the basis of this unfortunate situation.

    Staff were great and extremely entertaining even with their abuse! The service was poor but that’s what we expected and all part of the experience (especially with the menus being thrown at you)A burger with abuse thrown in Food was extremely good and quick

    Overall we liked it; the staff played their roles really well, atmosphere was also good. The food let it down for me. For the price you pay you shouldn’t be getting dried out burgers and nearly raw fries

    It’s exactly what I expected, great fun and not in your face. Food is very basic , poor Food Hygiene rated 1, so I found out later. Does what it says on the packet, no need to return.

    Had so much fun and laughed so hard, the servers make the whole restaurant, it was so funnyyyy. The food was good too, but not worth the price. But honestly it's worth it for the atmosphere. The other diners join in on the jokes too and it's really cool, absolutely loved it lol!!
