Goed voor zakelijke maaltijden

Located inside the Hotel Solar de las Ánimas, in the heart of the Magical Town of Tequila, La Antigua Casona pays tribute to the authentic cuisine of Jalisco. Under the direction of Chef Gerardo Ramos, the restaurant elevates traditional regional flavors with a refined, contemporary touch.

The menu draws inspiration from iconic Jaliscan dishes, such as carne en su jugo and tortas ahogadas, reinterpreted with the chef’s unique style and crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients that showcase the richness of the region’s culinary heritage.

The dining experience is further enhanced by a warm, inviting atmosphere that blends colonial elegance with Mexican hospitality, set within the walls of a beautifully preserved historic mansion. Just steps from the Parroquia de Santiago Apóstol, the Main Plaza, and the legendary La Rojeña Distillery, La Antigua Casona is where tradition, culture, and gourmet cuisine come together.

By far the best restaurant in Tequila. The service was superb. They have a good menu with a lot of Mexican staples and also some international options. I would highly recommend the "Carne en su Jugo" and the steak with tequila sauce. They of course, have a great tequila selection. Go for the Reserva de la Familia Platino
