Over dit restaurant

Charmant
Juweeltje in de wijk
Goed voor speciale gelegenheden

La Bicyclette features European Country Cuisine, hand-crafted using local ingredients and old world artistry. Our food is simple and spontaneous, blending flavors and cooking techniques in a way that is rooted in tradition yet creative.

Our menu is updated weekly, allowing us to make use of the freshest locally sourced ingredients. The kitchen is tiny, with all food prepared on a six burner stove and in our wood-fired oven.

The eclectic, charming ambiance made for a delightful dining experience, and the food was delicious. A wonderful little gem in Carmel that we would happily visit again!

Food was excellent, but service was a little lacking. It seems there was only 2 waiters trying to service all the tables. I was trying to flag down our waiter to refill our water carafes but he was so busy whizzing between tables I could hardly get his attention. He did check in a few times to see if we liked our food but otherwise was very preoccupied with other tables. The dining room was nicely decorated with French decor, but very small ,crowded and warm . Thank goodness our table was near an open window and the doors were open. The high ceilings increased the noise level. Plus there was a birthday celebration going on so loud talking made it difficult to hear your partner speak.

We enjoyed a nummy fall lunch in La Bicyclette’s quaint setting. My friend and I shared the autumn salad and squash flatbread pizza. Both were just right for us, tasty and generous portions to share.
