Located within Eataly in the heart of Eaton Centre , La Pizza & La Pasta celebrates two pillars of Italian culinary tradition: Neapolitan pizza and handcrafted pasta. Watch expert pizzaioli prepare traditional pizzas in golden wood-burning ovens, and savour a rotating selection of perfectly al dente pasta dishes rooted in Italy's most beloved regional recipes. Complement your meal with a glass or bottle from our curated Italian wine list, or raise one of our iconic cocktails - a crisp Spritz, a bold Negroni, or one of our seasonal bar offerings.

Ask your server about our rotating specials and tableside experiences that bring a little extra Italian flair to every visit. Open for lunch and dinner, the restaurant pulses with the vibrant energy of an Italian marketplace, whether you're stopping in for a relaxed weekday meal or gathering with friends for a lively weekend dinner.

We had a fun evening and this was an early start prior to heading to Massey Hall. It was extremely pleasant and our salads were delicious, the Prosecco crisp and perfect. BUT.. your check-in procedure was ridiculous! I was looking at a sea of empty, set tables, but was made to wait10 minutes at the door on my very sore shopping feet, for the clock to click to the EXACT time of my reservation. When I asked what I was waiting for I was told the restaurant was being ‘reset’. Again, I was looking at the entire front section, set and ready to go! Which is where your charming hostess led me when the clock ticked over. Our waiter was Diego. Also very charming. Please fix your officious check-in nonsense. I’m disinclined to return to be treated like a naughty patron.

Lasagna is very good but unfortunately was sold out! Ordered a different pasta which was good as well, but would have really like to have the Lasagna as my heart was set on that.

We will never return to this location. The rudeness we encountered was not only unnecessary and unacceptable it was completely unwarranted. Truly one of the most perplexing experiences we’ve ever had and the only time in the last 30 years that I can remember actually walking out of a restaurant. I also don’t usually write a review when a place isn’t up to my liking. I like to try and take it up with the management etc privately as mistakes can happen and I don’t want to jeopardize business for them. I tried to do this privately to no avail.

The pasta was flavourless and it was a good 5 minutes after the meal came that we were offered cheese and pepper which helped a little. The sever was very friendly and good . They also accommodated our late late arrival.
