Le Colonial is a celebration of the seductive spirit and vivid flavors reminiscent of Saigon in the 1920s, located in the heart of one of America’s largest and most diverse cities.
A lavish downstairs dining room is adorned with period photography, overhead fans and leather banquettes, and flanked by a Parisian-Style sidewalk café. A dramatic staircase leads to a second level lounge, where a large bar, mahogany millwork and plush seating create the perfect atmosphere for cocktails and light fare.

Dress Code: Business Casual
No athletic wear or athletic attire, including designer athletic line of any kind and model, beach flip flops or any beach attire, tank tops (men), cut-offs, sweatpants, exposed undergarments, and excessively revealing clothing for indoor and outdoor dining. Outstanding food and great atmosphere. It was our anniversary, which they noted at the hostess stand and the table. They even brought out a complimentary creme brulee. Overall, nice experience. However, our server was not up to par for a restaurant of this caliber (and cost!) He was virtually non-existent throughout our meal.

One of the most attractive restaurants in Houston. Great for visiting and seating is very comfortable. Some of the food is delicious and some so-so. Service was not great. We had to chase down our waiter who looked very disinterested in being there. Overall I would certainly eat there again as the ambience is wonderful but would order differently.

I really used to enjoy eating here but sadly was very disappointed with our recent dinner , the food seemed all pre made and generic like it was a frozen dinner put on a nice plate served within 5 minutes of sitting down . I will not return unfortunately.

Sadly the food was tasteless. We used to love this place and frequent often but we won’t be coming back. Unfortunately this was confirmed with many others that we know that have also eaten here in the last few weeks. So disappointing.

Drinks small and weak. Appetizers outstanding. Entrees were mediocre for such a high price tag. Servers need training (shouldn’t reach across table to serve). I expected much more for the price. Not sure I would come back.

An upscale restaurant should not serve but center cut fish filet. My family's Salmon was great but mine was the end tail of the Salmon , thin and not gourmet

We prefer this restaurant because of the food which is excellent, however, the service is not great. Waiters in general are not very friendly and when we brought this to the manager’s attention, she seemed not to care. Also, the “restaurant week menu” was deceiving and has a lot of surcharges.

I visited Le Colonial for the first time during Houston Restaurant Week. The food was very good. The appetizer, entree, and dessert were all prepared well. However, my guest and I felt as if we were not being attended to the same as other customers. Our server was Flavio. He checked on us rarely. That is the only reason why I did not give this restaurant five stars.
