   Le 31 mars, j’y ai souligné l’anniversaire d’une amie et ce fut un moment mémorable tant pour elle que pour moi. Nos plats étaient délicieux et sans reproche et que dire du service professionnel, efficace et chaleureux de notre serveuse Ourida! Il existe une belle complicité entre les membres du personnel (accueil, service de bar, etc. )et cela se reflète dans l’expérience client que nous avons vécue. La propreté de l’endroit est impeccable. Félicitations à tous et toutes! Nous avons hâte à notre prochaine visite.

   Had indicated it was my husband’s birthday but no recognition. Why even ask if it’s a special occasion if you have no intention of recognizing it. Missed the salad nicoise on the menu. 😩

   J'ai réservé pour un souper d'affaires. En attendant nos invités, ma collègue et moi nous sommes assises au bar et c'est Antoine qui nous a servies. Il s'est montré avenant, professionnel et très à l'affût de nos besoins, à un point tel que lorsque nos invités sont arrivés, le maître d'hôtel nous a offert de prendre la table près du bar pour la tranquillité dont nous avions besoin pour discuter... et devinez quoi? C'est Antoine qui a insisté pour nous servir! Il a fait un travail exceptionnel. De plus, les plats sont arrivés bien soignés, chauds et cuits à point. Nous avons tous choisi le filet mignon, cuit à perfection et le vin était à la bonne température. Le fondant au chocolat et les profiteroles ont mis la touche finale parfaite. Soupe et burrata, ainsi que le pain étaient tous aussi parfait que le reste. J'y suis allée il y a plusieurs années et je trouve sincèrement que ce restaurant est comme le bon vin: Il s'améliore avec l'âge. Bravo! Ça vaut le coût et le coup!

   We had an excellent dinner at Le pois penché. Most of our friends ordered the NY steak and they all mention it was excellent. I had the salmon and it was cooked to the perfection. We had oysters from PEI and they were delicious and so fresh . We had a wonderful service very warm and attentive. The ambiance is very lively without being too noisy . Overall a great experience, we definitely recommend Le Pois penché .

    This may be one of the best meals I've ever had. Perfect traditional gin and tonic served with lime... The flank steak was delicious. The addition of pomegranate seeds to the salad was very tasty. Even the bread was great. Service was lovely. Did not feel rushed. Restaurant was not noisy or overcrowded. Tables are spaced nicely. Highly recommend, and will be going back myself.

    This is a great place for Tartare de Boeuf. The seasoning is spot on and they give you enough baguette toasts for the entire portion. Also, the baguette here is amazing! If you are eating solo, the bar is comfortable with friendly service. I travel to Montreal on a regular basis and always look forward to an evening at Le Pois Penche.

    We had the Parisien which for the most part was fresh and delicious. My only complaint relates to the mussels. Not a fan that they are included here. Would be great if an option to substitute with other item or just swapped out for something different altogether. It’s not a wow for me and because of this felt the value of this dish was lowered. Service was excellent!

    This is a gem of a place. The food is great, but the atmosphere and service are what make it remarkable. Everything has personality, from the live singing to the really friendly, yet professional servers. We are from out of town and yet have dined here the past two visits and look forward to returning.

    We were out celebrating a significant birthday with my family. Our evening was as wonderful as expected as usual. From the moment we arrived and greeted, we were escorted to our table for 6 where we enjoyed our cocktails. The service was impeccable as usual and the food was delightfully delicious. We had a very enjoyable evening from start to finish. Thank you to the service staff as well as the kitchen staff for making our event a wonderful dining experience once again.

    Always a good meal. The French bread is delicious and the steak frites is always made right. One of my favorites restaurants. I enjoyed it more than Henri where I usually dine.

    Not like it used to be! The French onion soup was a watered down chicken broth! Was expecting the usual rich beefy flavor. The shrimp cocktail portions are so small! Used to be a favorite when in Montreal - won’t return.

Mistakes happen and we apologize. As for the shrimp cocktail, we pay more for them, but the portion has been the same for 10+ years. Our reputation is better than ever (see OpenTable reviews).
