   We wanted a unique and delicious dining experience and Little Pearl delivered on both counts. We typically go to the standard seafood restaurant and have the usual entrees, but we wanted something different on this first trip to Ashville. After reviewing several restaurants online, we chose Little Pearl based on the menu choices and prices. The food was exceptional as was the service. Highly recommend!

   We tried Little Pearl because it was very close to our hotel. The food is inventive and delicious. The wok fried little neck clams with chilies, miso and fennel were fantastic. The local mushrooms roasted another winner and the waiter was kind and attentive. This is a pretty new establishment so go and support local. Its yummy.

   Food quality was fair Some of the sauces were heavy , sweet and or salty. Less sauce or lighter sauce would be better. Fish had been frozen. Restaurant was a bit more noisy than we had hoped. More of a bar than restaurant. Overall average experience. With Asheville having so many restaurants available. This one just doesn’t stand out

    Server made a few mistakes and paid little attention to us even tho she only had 1 other table and the place was pretty dead. The restaurant is small and very open, which would be ok if there was blinds or some kind of separation from the parking lot. The food was actually quite good, just everything else was pretty poor. Definitely not great for kids btw. No kids menu and the server was not great at making accommodations.

    Although the people at the restaurant were very friendly and welcoming, the food was not very good. My fish was ok but the vegetables were soggy with a thick sweet-sour sauce that didn't go with it. My husband's food had too much sauce on it, so that he couldn't finish it.

    This was the 5th time I had dined here. The oysters were delicious, same with the frisee salad. Unfortunately, the 2 burgers were extremely undercooked and we sent one back. The hostess was fairly rude upon arrival. Overall it was good but I probably won't be back

    Most delicious meal I've had out since beginning to dine out again (about a year ago now). Many of my formally favorite restaurants have struggled with balancing quality and cost...making a dining out experience disappointing. Great service and excellent plate presentation, too!!

    The food here was amazing!! I had the swordfish entree and it was in my top 3 dishes of all time. Our service was superb!! The vibe was relaxed and the energy was electric. I highly recommend you go to Little Pearl. You will not be disappointed:-)

    What a great find! I was a little skeptical at first because of the location being across from the mall and in a small strip mall next to a mattress store. But the pictures on Yelp looked great and the reviews were good. This place was such a pleasant surprise! Food was amazing- we had the wings, oysters, burger (so good) and fried rice. Everything was really good, service was fast and friendly. Just shows there’s good food outside of downtown Asheville. Was a tiny bit expensive, but food quality and preparation was worth it. Thanks! Will be back for sure!

    The waitstaff was drunk and openly drinking. Waitress spilled our wine all over the table trying to pour it. They missed multiple order notes and did not seem to care at all.

    Staff we very off putting and not welcoming from the door. Dumplings over salted as were the wok fried clams, overwhelming what may have been good flavor. Mushrooms sauce was also overwhelming. Oysters were good but $44 a dozen ! egregious in such a casual restaurant, there is very little 'atmosphere' Trout was perfectly cooked and accompaniments very flavorful

    If you are looking for fresh seafood that is prepared well, look no further than Little Pearl. What it may seem to lack in service, you’ll forget about after you enjoy the dozen oyster appetizer. With their fantastic menu and fun wait staff; know I’ll be adding this to mu favs.

    This has become one of my favorite restaurants in Asheville. Parking can be a challenge at lunch time, but opens up later and during the dinner hours. Service is attentive and menu options are delicious and healthy. Sure to be enjoyed.

    First time there, but will be back and will tell friends about it as well. Hidden gem! Food was creative and on par with best dining in Asheville. Our waitress was the best Oysters, Asian ethic dishes, smoked salmon soup de jour … all were delicious! And considering restaurant prices these days, our meals were a good value.

    We had ceviche, salmon entree and lobster noodle salad. There wasn’t one item that was not OVER salty or over “vinegary”. It’s probably the worst food I’ve ever eaten in my life. Don’t recommend the items we ordered…

    Our waitress was a bit slow bringing appetizers and bread. I think she may have been the only staff on the floor. Food was very spicy and it did mention that on the menu. They would not make any changes to food order.

    Loved the menu. Meal was too salty to eat but I figure it was a fluke and not the recipe so I'll try again. Service was way too slow. Only one server for entire restaurant I think.
