We had a group of 6 and our table was open within 15 mins of arrival. The service was great and the chocolate mousse was outstanding. We had a great time!

We didn’t get the 4 top by the window in the bar room as requested as the restaurant was packed from 6-8 pm while we were there with people waiting for tables to turn over. We even had to wait at 6 pm. And, it was very noisy! Difficult to talk. But, the rest was good as usual: food service, ambience, etc. The lesson is not to book on Friday or Saturday evenings. It’s a better overall experience during the week.

First time for us at Lola’s - lovely lunch for my daughter and me to celebrate her birthday. Service and food were excellent. do side was a table of rather loud and obnoxious ladies, but we made the best of it.

The hospitality was exceptional as always! The new duck preparation was quite disappointing. The duck breast was cold, tough and quite frankly tasteless. Requiring a knife to cut. The pickled cabbage was rather tasteless and benign. The potato presentation was fine. We come on Monday evenings regularly because of the duck confit. The previous preparation of the duck with the pureed potato and cherry reduction has brought us back again and again. Total comfort food rich with flavor and meat that is tender and pulls apart with a fork. Tonight was not the 33rd Anniversary dinner that we had so looked forward to. When the duck confit returns as it was prepared we'll be back to our Monday night date nights.

I absolutely love this place! This is my second visit, and once again, I had a wonderful experience. The food is absolutely delicious, the service is outstanding, and the customer service is simply exceptional. If you want to experience a little taste of France, this is the perfect place. It has such a cozy, charming atmosphere that reminds you of a beautiful European town in France, where nobody is in a rush and everyone takes the time to enjoy the moment. It’s a perfect spot to spend quality time with friends and family, enjoy amazing food, and simply relax. I highly recommend this place! I will definitely be coming back! ❤️

Always a wonderful experience at Lola’s! Went for brunch this time… everything was delicious. The mushroom soup is one of the best soups I’ve ever had. Our server was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Start to finish a perfect Sunday brunch!

We had a lovely dinner at Lola's in Chagrin Falls last evening. Our server Jonah was professional, polite, and competent. We ordered oysters and drinks to start: Excellent choices. The evening's special was a bone-in ribeye for 2 which looked great. We ordered and anxiously awaited its arrival (as trick-or-treaters walked past the windows). A steak arrived which frankly looked more like a NY strip than a bone-in ribeye. The runner from the kitchen apparently picked up someone else's meal and brought it to us not knowing how different those 2 cuts of meat look. We told Jonah who profusely apologized and brought the manager (a lovely woman whose name I don't recall) to the table. She handled the situation appropriately, taking the wrong meal away and offering to bring us both shrimp cocktails for our trouble (along with our correct meal). In a minute or two, a freshly prepared ribeye arrived with another set of apologies and an offer to replace the shrimp with deserts and coffee for us after the meal. The steak was splendid as were the scalloped potatoes and sauce we had ordered. After that, we enjoyed 2 terrific deserts and cappuccinos (on the house, of course). Not only was this a really special evening but one where a fine restaurant handled a kitchen staff mistake the ABSOLUTELY CORRECT way. This is perfect example of how a quality restaurant should handle service recovery. Their making it right prompted this review. . . . we will return to Lola's again and again and suggest you do too!
