First time at Lost Cowboy in Portsmouth. The service was friendly and attentive for our party of 8 and food was so good. I think we had all the meats covered at our table and everyone was very pleased. Can’t wait to see the new expansion!

Food and drinks were good, apps weren’t hot. It was a little slow - there for a little over 90 minutes. Waitress was excellent. Loved the music.

Fun vibe, tasty comfort food done really well. Immaculate cleanliness. Service was prompt, polite and friendly. The portions are big; had to bring home leftovers. This has become our new favorite place eat for casual dining.

We were excited to try the Lost Cowboy but left disappointed. The service wasn’t great … we ordered an extra side that never arrived and a second round of drinks that never arrived. Our table was in an area near the door that was quite cold, and very loud. The food was mediocre at best - 2 of us had smoked chicken and it was very dry and lacking in flavor. Quite disappointing overall, and we probably won’t return. On a good note, the fries are awesome!

Food and service were excellent. The side door should be locked so that diners don’t get a blast of cold air and confused people looking for a host. Otherwise, great!

The Lost Cowboy is a vibe! It is the country bar and establishment that Portsmouth needed. The atmosphere is fun, welcoming, and full of character, with an ambience that makes you want to stay awhile and soak it all in. Food is absolutely amazing, and so are the drinks! The staff really add to the experience — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It’s the kind of place that gets the balance just right between a great atmosphere and great hospitality. Whether you’re stopping in for a drink or spending the evening with friends, it’s definitely a spot worth visiting. Can’t wait to go back! And can’t wait to see the expansion! Grab your cowboy boots and your friends and stop in!

Great meal at the Lost Cowboy Tap Room. Expensive but worth the price considering quality and portions. Our server, Isabel, was fantastic. Except for bourbons, cocktail and wine selections seemed a bit limited. Noise level was high which, for us, was difficult. But the vibrancy of the place is undeniable. Recommend.
