Juweeltje in de wijk

Our Elk Grove restaurant, located at 1050 E Higgins Rd, was established in 1971 and was the second Lou Malnati’s pizzeria to ever open! The exterior log cabin design pays homage to the village named after the elk that used to roam the forest preserve just down the road in Busse Woods. Lou Malnati’s Elk Grove offers dine-in, carryout, delivery, catering and a semi-private event space to accommodate up to 60 people. Experience Legendary Chicago Deep Dish and thin crust at the place that’s been perfecting it for 50+ years, with family recipes and high-quality ingredients you just don’t find everywhere.

Salad and pizza. Generous portion salad with their house dressing. No leftover to take home. Great service too.

Lou’s is known for excellent pizza. This is our favorite location in the suburbs. We literally drive past other Lou’s locations to get to this one.

We ate at Elk Grove Village, Illinois, location and Felix R was our waiter. We were a table of eight people, and he was very attentive. Thinking in advance bringing plates for appetizers before the appetizer was delivered, making sure our drinks were good and giving us refills. I even brought in a birthday cake which he cut & served. Having good service equals having an enjoyable evening.

Pizza was pricey, but really delicious. Our server has been with them 20+ years and was a true delight!
