Lovely tasty food and great service. I would definitely recommend this place. We were in a group of 6 and everyone had something different and all enjoyed their meal.

Another excellent evening at Mantra Thai. It was warm, cosy and we were well looked after by the delightful staff. Food was delicious and served nice and hot. Lovely furnishings and ambience with no loud music blasting out. A great place to eat. Highly recommend. Thank you to staff for a lovely birthday meal!

Disappointing overall. The food was good enough, but significantly overpriced for what was served. We were not informed when booking that the normal menu would be unavailable and replaced with a restricted set menu, which was frustrating. Service between courses was extremely slow, and combined with the high prices, the overall experience did not represent good value.

The food and service was absolutely lovely but quite noisy as we were placed next to groups of 4 or more. There were a lot of two person tables on the other side of the restaurant and that looked more suited for dates etc. Apart from that it was exceptional thank you

Great Thai food, and nice, relaxed atmosphere. Their early dinner set menu was great before heading to a concert at the utilita arena.

Lovely looking restaurant inside. Was presented with just early menu and when questioned it, they said if you’re going to the theatre etc they reccommend that for quickness, I would have liked for them to ask if we were going anywhere rather than just assume. We were made to feel like they didn’t want us to order off the main menu. Early menu for 2 courses was £32 each which I think was expensive. Although the food was nice, it’s not the best Thai food I’ve had, especially as some of the belly pork was well over cooked. But I have to say the prawns were pretty exceptional. £92 for 2 courses for 2 people and 4 non alcoholic drinks though, I don’t think I’d go back.

As a regular customer who has always thoroughly enjoyed visiting this restaurant whenever we are back in the UK, it is disappointing to have to write a less-than-positive review. Unfortunately, Saturday evening's experience was nowhere near the excellent standard we have come to expect. I appreciate that Saturday evenings are busy, but having seemingly inexperienced staff working during one of the busiest periods is rarely a recipe for success. Drinks took far too long to arrive and, when they eventually did, the wrong drinks were delivered – not once, but twice. The overall service felt disorganised, lacklustre and lacking the attention to detail that has previously made this restaurant such a pleasure to visit. Adding to the disappointment was the noticeable increase in prices, with a bowl of Tom Yum soup now costing £15. I have no objection to paying a premium for excellent food and service, but when prices continue to rise while service standards appear to decline, it does raise the question of whether profitability is beginning to take priority over the customer experience. We have been loyal customers for some time and genuinely love this restaurant, which makes Saturday's experience all the more frustrating. One disappointing evening should not overshadow years of enjoyable visits, but equally, loyal customers should be able to expect a consistent standard, particularly when paying premium prices. I sincerely hope this was simply an unfortunate evening rather than an indication of things to come. However, based on Saturday's performance, we will certainly think twice before returning, which is something I never thought I would say about a restaurant we have enjoyed so much.

Such a beautiful venue with wonderful staff. The food is exceptional and the Thai iced coffee is an absolute must. Can't wait to return.
