   Absolutely the best steakhouse in Houston by far! Not only great food and drinks, but an amazing and accommodating staff. Mastro’s Steakhouse Houston never disappoints and always delivers with the best quality and service.

   Wagyu came room temp but manager made it right and brought out a fresh steak complimentary,2// way better, warn and had a nice sizzle. Good cocktail selection specifically whisky. Lobster Mac was killer and the shrimp appetizer was out of this world. The Cesar was bland, too dry, too simple. I thought it was louder than I would have liked but to be expected for a Friday night. I’d go back, probably not order the steak but everything else was great!

    For steak quality, it is no Pappas steak house. Plates come out very hot, so continue to cook your steak. Under order it or it will be well done by your second cut into it. I also found it a joke that after spending $400 on dinner, they charge patrons $7 to park. Get drinks here at the bar and go to Pappas for a real steak.

    I have visited many Maestro SteakHouses and have always been very fond of them. In fact, my first date with my wife was at City Hall in Phoenix many years ago. I have been at this location a couple of times prior. The atmosphere is over the top pleasant, whether for business or a fancy date. Service is always above par. And admittedly, I’ve never experienced what I’m about to describe. My business guest ordered the sea bass, included a topping, and Sid it was the best thing he had ever eaten. We both got salads, excellent. I ordered, and had looked really forward to the bone in filet, as I had not had red meat in a month. While cooked to my liking, absolutely was not seasoned well and was rather tasteless. The creamed spinach mirrored it, certainly lacking salt. I will return, but a note that even the best can deliver a sub par product, even at this high price point. My team took me to Brennans the following evening and it was a much better steakhouse experience. I do have to say, because I was with a customer, I did not bring it to my servers attention. I am sure that it would have been corrected if I had done so.

    The first thing I noticed when we were seated was dirty table linen and also a dead bug on my glass! Once our food was brought out it was a piece of hair on my plate! Thank God I had not started eating yet! The food was great after I sat there a extra 30 mins awaiting for them to bring another plate of food! All they kept doing was apologizing and brought my boyfriend a disgusting piece of cake! I will definitely not be returning, Eddie vs is still my #1 place to eat at In Houston!

    Celebrating our wedding anniversary. All staff greeting us acknowledging the special occasion. Service was impeccable, food delicious, atmosphere beautiful. We had a wonderful time. And then today staff called to make sure we had a great time. First class!

    We started with two crab cakes and the bacon. Both were delicious. We then had a Caesar salad, and the bread basket. The bread was fresh and there is a good variety. For our entree we ordered the chop, bone-in rib eye and split it. We also shared the truffle gnocchi and a baked potato. The plates were SIZZLING hot. Everything tasted fantastic. We ordered the steak medium. It came out on a platter sliced (it was offered to us as we were sharing) more of a medium rare than a medium. However, this was perfect since our actual dinner plates would slightly cook the meat as we ate due to how hot they were. We ordered the raspberry chocolate cake for dessert with homemade whipped cream. It was as good as I imagined it would be. The drinks were just okay. I had two cocktails. Can’t remember the names. The service was excellent, as always.

    We had a great meal. The musician was one of the best I have heard at a restaurant. We got one rib steak that was not very good and we could not eat it. The rest of the meal was perfect and so was the service.

    Was greeted by at least 6 different employees walking from the host stand to the table. Filet mignon was tasty. $15 charge to add bone marrow butter as recommended by waiter. Drinks were ~$23 each. A bit pricey but good food and drinks. Started off quiet when there was only 1 other table in our section. When the section filled up near the end of dinner, it was much noisier. Overall good experience.
