We love Max's and are so sorry they will be closing. We hope the renovated restaurant includes some of the wonderful recipes that Max's has. Thanks to the staff all these years that have been wonderful to their customers! We will miss you!

Our server, James, was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful; he could not have been better. Overall food was very good. Calamari was delicious. Our table tried the NY steak, pork chop and swordfish, and all enjoyed their meal.

Service was a little chaotic but that happens in a restaurant sometimes. But everything else was awesome and we will be back!

One of the quieter restaurants in Auburn. Food is OK, prices average, but when you really aren't in the mood for something ethnic or someplace hoppin', Max's is the place.

My husband and I were looking for a quick bite while visiting for work. He suggested Max's because it reminded him of a Bay-Area restaurant he would go to with his grandparents before seeing the symphony (turns out you have multiple locations!) He was delighted with the food and experience, which filled him with memories of his childhood. I enjoyed my experience as well-- the environment was cozy and well-decorated, and my patty melt was superb :-)

First time eating at Max's. Will definitely go again. Extensive menu with items not available at most restaurants (matzah ball soup and swordfish for example). Our waitress was wonderful (Vanessa)

I knew of this restaurant, but had never been. It's a bit 'out of site out of mind" Every restaurant in the area was booked for valentine's day. Max's popped up when searching for local restaurants, and I was able to get a reservation. What a great chance of fate!!The restaurant was perfect for a Valentine's date night. Great ambiance, great wait staff. We had the chicken Pot pie and the pork chop in wine sauce and tiramisu for dessert... the food was amazing!!!! This place really made the night special

We had Michaela as our server she was absolutely amazing. The food was fantastic. We had such a great Valentine’s Day dinner. I got the ribeye. It was so delicious and My Husband got the honey spicy roasted chicken. The French onion soup was so delicious. I’m so glad that we made reservations there and for lunch we went back in Sherry was our server and she was awesome. Definitely be back! Thank you!!!!
