Mazarine is a French seafood restaurant on Hanover Square, Mayfair. The kitchen is rooted in the coastal traditions of Provence and the Côte d'Azur — Dover sole, bouillabaisse, salade Niçoise, and oysters — sourced for provenance and prepared with classical French technique.

Executive Chef Thierry Laborde brings three decades of training, including Le Gavroche and a Michelin star at L'Oranger, to a menu that balances precision with generosity. Seasonal, coastal, and unmistakably French.

The dining room is warm, unhurried, and refined without formality — a place for long lunches, celebratory dinners, and evenings worth remembering. Private dining and full venue hire available.

Wonderful, elegant restaurant where one feels the warmth and effort that has only 1 design in mind- to give the guests a relaxed, calm environment to enjoy exceptional food with company. We were made to feel so welcome by the charming team, and we look forward to enjoying the restaurant again soon. I did not ask our waiter’s name but he went above and beyond with great service. The chef really takes it to another level, thank you..

The restaurant is adjacent to the Oriental Mandarin Hotel on Hanover Square. The space is not large but is quite inviting. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Our server, Reese, took time to understand the menu and to help us to choose our selections. The food is primarily seafood prepared in a coastal French style that is excellent. We had the escargot and mackerel starters which were fresh and delicious. We shared a sea bass that was topped with a delicious butter sauce. It was perhaps the most tasty fish I have ever had. Really super. The sommelier was very patient and helpful in our choosing a white Bordeaux from the extensive and interesting wine list. There are many restaurants to choose from in London. Mazarine is a memorable dining experience and we would recommend it.

The restaurant very nice the food also is excellent but it they to work for their ambiance, also they I suggest them as it’s fish restaurant to bring halal meet for their chicken and meat as some guest they don’t eat fish and they eat halal.

A very charming and relaxed venue. Food was perfect and great portion size. Staff were chatty but not too much - inclusive not obtrusive. Wine was poured in the perfect proportions. Thank you and well done!
