We had such a wonderful experience at The Melting Pot celebrating our daughter’s birthday! We arrived a little early for our reservation, and the staff was so accommodating and graciously seated us ahead of schedule. Our waiter, Henry, was fantastic! He was warm, engaging, attentive, and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. His friendly personality and wonderful service added such a special touch to our celebration. We truly appreciated the hospitality and the effort to make our evening memorable. Thank you, Henry, and the entire Melting Pot team for helping us celebrate such a special occasion! We look forward to returning!

Overall we were disappointed. The pepper steak was very hard to chew, the service was very slow, and it was very expensive. I must say the salmon was excellent.

I always enjoy the cheese fondue, however when the artichokes and spinach were added to the cheese, they were just dumped in with very little stirring. Oscar really needs to be trained on presentation. The steak bites were too large to eat and the table knife just wasn't working well to cut the meat. Requested steak knives. We received one and were informed that it was the only one in the restaurant. Really? Only one steak knife in the entire restaurant? The advice is to ask for a steak knife as soon as you set down so the you'll have one when you need it.

Earl, thank you for the detailed feedback. I’m sorry that the presentation of your cheese course and the difficulty with the steak bites took away from your visit. Both the proper preparation of our cheese and having the right utensils available are basic parts of the experience, and we missed the mark. I am addressing these issues with our team, including presentation standards and our steak-knife availability. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope to have an opportunity to provide the experience you expect from us.

I’m sad to say we will not be returning anytime soon and I used to really like the melting pot!! We made a reservation for 4 and they tried to sit us at a table with one burner, we definitely had two pots so how would that have worked? When they did seat us, it was more in the back room at a very nice table, why not seat us there first? Bathroom sinks and fixtures were not clean (I have pictures if interested), toilets were fine. Front desk area had cheap pseudo tile that was coming off and it just had an odor of a dirty bar. To top it off, I read there ‘red’ city inspection in the Sunday paper AFTER we dined there and it was bad; just overall unclean. I will say that the food seemed very fresh and was good, service was great until the head chef left and there was no one to cook the chocolate? Our waitress was very nice and tried to explain the more than 1/2 wait for chocolate. Mind you we spent over 450 for 4 people as we were celebrating a birthday. I expect a place to be very clean for this amount of money. Again, I’m sad that the melting pot has going down hill:(.

Service just wasn’t that great. We had almost burnt cheese when we got our cheese pot. It just wasn’t good. It wasn’t the best experience.

We come here often. However, every time we order our drinks, it takes at least a half an hour for them to arrive. Last night was closer to 40 minutes. Why?? Food was terrific as always and Haley was a lovely server.
