    I was looking forward to an evening out. We arrived @15 minutes early. The hostess acted like she was put out that we arrived early and told us to come back at our reservation time. I asked if we could sit and wait. She then seated us right by the kitchen where the servers were going in and out. The hostess's attitude made a nice evening into a MEH evening. This is the first bad experience we have had at the Melting Pot-Boise.

    Wonderful experience for my wife's birthday. Wanted something different and somewhere we had never been to. The Melting Pot definitely fit the bill for both Cozy and intimate booth for the two of us and most importantly my wife and I were very, very satisfied. Our server Steven was above and beyond accommodating and as we found out it was his first night. He was outstanding and we will request him as our server on our next visit.

    This was our first time coming and everything was amazing. The service was top notch and also whenever we had any issue, the manager was very helpful and attentive also our waitress was knowledgeable and fun to chat with too. Definitely a perfect date night/special occasion treat!

    Arrived five minutes before our reservation and asked to wait in the vestibule until our reservation. Stood awkwardly well the restaurant was more than half empty was seated exactly at our reservation time and sat for 15 minutes before somebody took our drink order. The food is good, but the experience is terrible. I will not be going back because it all felt so awkward.

    We had the best waiter at our table! It was quiet, romantic, it was spendy but to be honest, for the amount of food and experience you get absolutely worth it!

    This was a very fun experience, and the food was delicious! The staff was very attentive and helped us along the way during our 4-course meal. Last minute, we changed from outdoor seating to indoor seating, and there was no issue with that. The ambiance was great, and it was very private and quiet. The only thing I was unhappy with was the $40 bouquet I ordered for the table - it was very small and not very well arranged. Overall, although expensive, it was worth it for a good date night!

    Excellent experience! Our server was excellent. Great explanation of how the fondue meal would work. Awesome suggestions for choices. Regularly checked on us in a tasteful manner. Would highly recommend this restaurant especially for a special occasion. Outdoor seating would be perfect for bringing younger diners.
