   Never been before last week. Bright, clean interior. Fantastic menu- we didn’t have time for dessert unfortunately. Me and my date shared a few starters, pretty standard for an Italian. The mains were brill! Agnello was very tasty and filling and the lady went with the salmon pasta which I also tried- very nice. Service wasn’t the best but it wasn’t terrible. Will definitely recommend/revisit if I’m in the area.

   Theatre menu was varied & the food was really delicious. Attention should be made to detail however - side plates for putting lemon wedges & cutlery on after eating a prawn cocktail, providing extra full sized napkins instead of tiny wafer thin ones, bringing water when requested twice. The staff were all very polite & courteous & the restaurant was very light & clean. We would visit again as the food was so good

   Would have been a great night if it wasn’t for the rude staff was told how long we had the table for at the start of the night and then with half a hour left we was constantly being asked do we want bill we have to leave by this time which we already knew and then the rude staff would go back to the bar and then point and moan at us for not leaving 30 min earlier, we then finally left and whilst waiting for a taxi outside for 20 mins no one was even seated

We would like to point out that it is clearly stated on both our website and booking system that all tables have a duration, which is very similar to other restaurants, helping with the demand of our restaurant. We are sorry that you felt rushed as this is not at all how we would like our guests to feel when dining with us.

    Food was disappointing. Prawn cocktail just a large piece of lettuce with prawns put on top. Bruschetta tasteless, sea bass fillet dry/overcooked with many bones, melted garlic butter was freezing cold. Our table wasn’t ready when arrived. Starter plates cleared before all party had finished eating. Very rushed. Pizza and beef was ok.

    I have dined here several times. Always lovely food with good choices. Staff very efficient and friendly. Food arrives promptly. Definitely recommend a visit if you have not been.

    We love to visit Caffe Di Milano when we’re at the theatre, the food and menu is excellent with a good pre theatre menu with something to suit anyone. Staff are always very friendly and attentive, although there were fewer staff on our visit yesterday due to staff shortages which was made clear on entry. The staff coped well and maintained friendly service despite this and we were still able to eat and get to the theatre in time. We recommend Caffe Di Milano.

    Excellent experience - quick service which was essential for pre- theatre. All the party had lovely food. A nice atmosphere in the restaurant. The pre- theatre menu had a good choice and as a party we had lots of dishes and we were all very happy with them all!

    The food order was wrong, the waiter had a poor grasp of English and didn’t listen to what was requested. The food (salmon) was served and when the error was pointed out the manager took it back and said 2-3 minutes. After 15 minutes it still hadn’t been served and we had to go and seek out the manager to ask what was happening. Then we were told it was an error in the kitchen. Finally the food came out overcooked and the salmon was burnt on the surface and was too dry. By way of an apology we were offered a complimentary dessert for 1, which was later added to the bill!! We had coffees and requested the bill and it was wrong. Things on the hill we hadn’t had so again we had to complain to the manager. He went away and was on his tablet for 5 minutes and comes back with another bill and it was still wrong! Clearly they are disorganised. I was having to get the menu and tell them what we had eaten/ ordered. It was a painful ordeal and there was no apology for the mix up. The staff need better training and they need to listen to the order, not serve what they think we have requested. Very disappointing visit and it’s shame as it’s a nicely appointed restaurant with lovely decor and in an ideal location for theatre goers.

    Would have liked a few more dishes on pre theatre menu. My companion is a plain eater and found limited choice. I was very happy with choices for myself. Food was well presented and very tasty.

    We always look forward to visiting Milano's. The food is superb, the staff are always so efficient and friendly and there's always a lovely ambience in the restaurant. What's not to like!

    Had a great date night during a one week trip here, very quite on a thursday night. The decor created a very romantic atmosphere and the steak was amazing for its price. The service is good as well and the waiters were very polite and attentive. Sadly on saturday night they were fully booked, we would have gone here again for our final meal before we leave!

    Poor service. Very haphazard even forgot one meal and this then came 15 minutes after the rest. Had to ask several times about our dessert. Some waiters had very dirty aprons. We were very disappointed. Not at all like previous visits. We were nearly late for the theatre.

    Food was ok, but the restaurant was quite cold. It was a snowy night but there was a cold breeze blowing through the restaurant. Not great value for money especially as they add the 'directional' 10% service charge - something that many restaurants do that I find very annoying because you are notified in the smallest of small print on the menu. It's up to me to opt in to giving a tip

    Booked for the mid-week pre-theatre menu as a treat. Food was excellent and well timed. Service was attentive but relaxed so you didn’t feel rushed and there was plenty of time to eat before the performance (we booked table for 12 noon for a 2pm performance) The restaurant is literally around the corner from the Hippodrome so perfectly placed for a stress free experience! Thank you.

    We booked a table for five ladies for a pre theatre meal and drinks and we are so glad we chose to dine here. Staff were welcoming, friendly and gave us an outstanding service, checking everything was ok with our food and if we needed anything more. Drinks ordered came quickly. The food was delicious and worth every penny. I can highly recommend the fillet steak. Pizzas are huge! Thank you so much for a fabulous experience.

    The menu has a large choice of Italian-themed dishes - some to suit everybody's taste. Service is prompt, polite and efficient. The restaurant gets very busy in the early evening (prior to shows starting at the Hippodrome) - it is advisable to book.
