The food was delicious & the service was great. The only complaint was the music was alittle too loud to have any conversations!

Every time we’ve been to Monroe’s it’s been a treat. The food is wonderful fresh and delicious, the staff is so friendly and accommodating, and the ambiance is family friendly as well as intimate. The bar offers generous pours of wine and I can’t say anything that’s not exemplary about the restaurant. I’m looking forward to our next visit. What a great experience.

Too loud They had live music and I was unaware when making the reservation. It was impossible to talk to our dining companions. All staff was very accommodating and fulfilled every request.

I took my daughter and some friends. We always have a great time at my Rose. The food is great. They have a new price fix special, which is absolutely a great deal. Service is always excellent. They’re always friendly and remember us and I recommend it to anyone the food has something for everybody.

We went to Monroe’s in Westbury for the first time on Father’s Day and we were quite pleased. We were one out of 2 tables occupied on a late evening seating. We ordered 2 drinks from their “cocktail selections” and totally enjoyed our Bombshell Mule and Fools Gold ( a variation of a Bourbon Old Fashioned . Our appetizers were Grilled Pulpo over Arugula salad ( sliced lengthwise not chunks and full of flavors and quite tender) and a Zucchini special with chopped meat and a sauce. DELICIOUS. The mains were a Pork Loin special with a chestnut gravy and Red Snapper Livornese. Both were well prepared and quite flavorful. A small thought… the chestnut sauce could have been a bit thicker but that might just be a matter of preference. We ordered Broccoli Rabe on the side… tender with a bite!!! Loved it. No dessert… too full, maybe at our next visit, and we certainly will head there again !!

We had the best burger and fries! Monroe's is a quiet place and our server was first rate. I picked it because we went to Old Westbury Gardens but didn't want to eat at the cafe there. Wanted to eat inside. p.s. the best gelato as well. Will definitely return!
