   Unfortunately nothing to say about this place. I booked in for dinner on 1/15 through Open Table. When I got there, they couldn’t find my reservation and said they had no availability. So, I walked across the street to the Breadery where I found a spot at the bar and had a great meal.

   This is a tasting room with just snacks. But the artichoke dip is some of the best I’ve had. And the cocktails are stupendous!

   Excellent craft cocktails the server from Wyoming forgot her name, was excellent. Wished there was a protein rich appetizer rather than hummus and veggies, and cheese. Had to Eat at the Public House beforehand. Bought 2 bottles of the rum - second time visiting from Boulder. Love the concept. Could be cool to do a tour of the Distillery???

   The rum tasting was very fun1 A definite difference between the rums. Plus, we highly recommend sitting at the bar. We learned quite a bit from the bartenders/servers even though it was very full that evening (seemed to be well-staffed). Definitely make a reservation. Ambience was upscale, light and bright.

    This place is great. We did the tasting of all rums and had a very tasty cocktail too. The cheese board was huge, more than we could eat! The service was wonderful and the people who work there are passionate and obviously knowledgeable about the different kinds of rums. We’ll definitely be back at the distillery on our next trip to Crested Butte.

    Montanya has some of the best rum around. Great place to kick back for a few and have a drink (or two or three), in Crested Butte. Snack plates were good also!

    Love their drinks!, we sat at the bar right where the bartender was making the drinks and was able to smell all the fresh herbs and fruit from the drinks which smelled wonderful. Was a little bummed they got rid of the smoked rosemary cocktail that I had last time I visited Crested Butte, but looks like they switched up their menu just a little. All the drinks they had looked and smelled delightful and we enjoyed our cocktails there.

    We made a reservation to have a drink and appetizer before dinner. The cocktails are creative and the food options highly varied. The new atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable.

    We had a great experience at Montanya. We had several delicious cocktails and really enjoyed visiting with our bartender, Lauren. Highly recommend this place. The Maharaja was our favorite.

    We had a reservation for a table of 6. The tables very small and don't accomodate that size. We crowed around a tiny table with chairs. After we were crowded with food and drinks, the bartender asked for two of our chairs and asked us to move to sit 2 on the window sill. She then put those chairs at a empty table that was never used. Staff not that friendly. Not worth the visit.

Our staff is still getting used to the reservation system, so they may have thought they needed the chairs for another reservation. The window bench seat can comfortably fit two people, and being that we are a small space, it may be used for larger groups.

    Quick and easy to make reservations. Drink selection and taste are wonderful. Food was just enough to take hunger away and enjoy our drinks over wonderful conversation.

    Some of the best cocktail creations on the planet backed by simply outstanding rum. The service and welcoming environment made our day. After first having a Maharaja Martini 10 years ago, I continue to view it as a masterpiece, and a must have any time I can get there.

    I loved the new space. Atmosphere is upscale and tastefully done. But i miss the vibrant atmosphere of the old place. The mood here was subdued and a little too reserved for my liking. Our reservation was at 8:30 but they told us kitchen closed at 9. So we felt rushed to order dinner and dessert. They brought it all at once! So ice cream sitting on the table while we ate our food. Luckily they agreed to put in the freezer for us. Also was disappointed in the seacuterie plate. Cucumber stack was delicious. They were out of bread and out of the desert we wanted. If you want an upscale cocktail bar with quiet classy atmosphere this your place. Over all it was a pleasant experience and service was excellent. But i won’t rush back -especially because you need a reservation.

We are still dealing with supply chain shortages and occasionally run out of items we need. We do close at 9 pm, but we will connect with the staff on proper training.     This is not a place for food. You are making a reservation for a strange bar type place. I think most of the reviews were done when this was a restaurant that actually served food. We had a reservation, but we still waited 45 minutes to get a drink. It was one of the strangest "non restaurants" I have ever not dined in.... the service was terrible. One person making drinks.. it took forever. I'm not sure what happened to this place, but it's a disaster!

    Love the new location…swanky! The cocktails and rum are awesome as usual. The food options are more limited than it used to be probably because of COVID but still pretty good. Highly recommend especially for the rum, cocktails and owners.

    I love the ambiance of the new place. I love making a reservation and walking in and being seated. The glassware is beautiful and the cocktails are delicious.
