We love mashed potato - it's the food equivalent of a great big hug. Our mash is made with only the very best Maris Piper potatoes - and it's made fresh. Not that day, not that hour, but right before you tuck in. That way it still has the creamy fluffy texture we've whipped into it.
Add a piping hot pie, free range sausages or vegetarian option.. pour on your choice of fresh gravy.. and you'r done. Feel all warm and friendly.

    Toffe, kleine, gezellige eetgelegenheid. Heel lekker gegeten. Typisch Engelse puree met worst. Zeer vriendelijke bediening. Aanrader!

    Prima volta in questo locale, conosciuto tramite social. Aspettative pienamente soddisfatte ed oltre. Cibo ottimo, ambiante accogliente ed un'esperienza davvero piacevole

    Great food - I had pie, mash & liquor. My wife had sausage & mash. Lush lemon meringue pie for pudding. At £30 per head this was excellent! Pre-theatre meal, fab location. We will be back with friends and family!

    A good selection of tasty pies, sausages, and mash. There is a decent selection of vegetarian and vegan options available. Service was quick yet friendly. The puddings and desserts are topnotch.

    Lovely food and great service! Difficult to choose what to have as such many great choices, but we all really enjoyed our visit and it was very reasonably priced.

    So glad to return here after 18 years and find it as busy and popular as ever! Delicious wholesome grub perfect fuelling for the Royal Parks Half Marathon the next day. The team were friendly and organised and being able to book a central London table and walk in past the queue was very welcome after a long day shopping. Make sure you have pudding too!

    Overall had a great experience at mothers mash carnaby, I understand why it’s such a highly rated pie and mash shop. It was my first time trying pie and mash and I’m definitely impressed, the service was immaculate our server was knowledgeable and recommended us other dishes on the menu to try. We tried the steak pie, mince pie, liquor traditional mash and gravy and onion gravy aswell as the honey sausage and pepper sausage with a bit of spicy mustard. It was truly delish! I just wish the shop was slightly more spacious it was very cramped in there and it wasn’t even packed, getting up and around the tables was a squeeze. I also wish the liquor sauce was warmer it was slightly congealed when I poured it on my plate which is quite off putting, nonetheless still enjoyable.
