Mr. H is an Asian fusion restaurant and lounge in Boston's Seaport serving sushi and shareable plates, inspired by the Shanghai salons of the 1940s. The sushi-led menu runs from the Mr. H Spicy Tuna roll to spicy peanut noodles and scallion pancakes, paired with an energetic cocktail program and food served until midnight. DJs set the tone on Saturdays and Sundays, making Mr. H a go-to for after-work drinks, date nights, groups, pre- and post-concert plans, and late-night bites in the Seaport.     Food was incredible, especially the gyoza. The honey walnut shrimp was also a highlight. This restaurant is perfect for a special occasion!

    Service was delightful! We were celebrating an anniversary and were given rosé as a treat, which was so nice. All 5 meals we had were delicious, the dessert was so unique, and we had a great time

    I decided to celebrate my birthday at Mr. H on Sunday, September 6th, and was initially drawn to the restaurant because of its beautiful ambience. Upon arriving, we were seated promptly; however, it took quite a while before a server came over to our table. We were eventually greeted by someone who offered us tea, but he never formally introduced himself as our server. He asked if we were waiting on another guest, which we were, but even after our full party arrived, the delay in service continued. After waiting longer than I felt was reasonable, I requested a new server. Management handled the situation very well and promptly accommodated my request, which I appreciated. Our second server was better, but I still felt some of the basic elements of hospitality were missing. There was no introduction, acknowledgment of the occasion, or conversation about the menu, recommendations, or what brought us in that evening. The food was great, and the ambience was exactly what drew me to Mr. H in the first place. I just wish the level of customer service matched the atmosphere and quality of the food. With more attentive and personable service, I think the overall experience could have been much better.
