Located in Lander, Wyoming near the foothills of the Wind River Range, Mulino is a small town Bistro with big city inspiration. Chef/Sommelier team Joe and Angela Hammer of Philadelphia are at the helm, creating dining experiences for Lander's locals, adventure seekers and tourists passing through town.
The menu offers seasonal flavors and showcases local ingredients as often as possible. Chef/Owner Joe Hammer utilizes a classic background training in French culinary arts to craft fare that is comfortably approachable, yet exciting and adventurous for those who wish to wander off the beaten path. A frequently rotating international wine list, seasonal specialty cocktail menu and local beer selection keeps the beverage program fresh, while appealing to a wide range of palates and price points.

    The food was very good and the portions was good. I had gone in Nov. 2022 and the food was awful and very little. Great improvement glad I gave it another chance. I was disappointed in the dessert menu. We was their for a birthday and was going to share dessert but the menu had was only a couple things and nothing we could relate to. The one big thing I had a problem with is the very experience wine list. Fine if you want the fancy wines but have some at a price people can afford. I got the cheapest white wine by the glass and it was $20.00 and was awful. I would go back for the food and just drink water.

    Great food. Service was not great, but they had unexpected conference in town, which they did not plan for and they were slammed. One major issue was Very loud music playing. Some kind of hard or heavy metal which made conversation very difficult. Everyone was shouting to be heard which was a somewhat unpleasant cacophony.

    Appetizers to die for. Excellent food. Enjoyable choice of background music. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Who would have thought we would find gourmet food in Lander, WY.

    Waiters were very friendly and provided excellent service. Nice variety in the menu. Food was very good. Creative cocktail list. Only complaint is the music was too loud inside at 6pm for relaxed conversation .

    Mulino is a Lander gem! The food is amazing, the whole place is a “vibe” and the experience is entirely worth every penny and minute. Don’t expect fast service or a bland time. It’s a slow, but fun way to dine. You actually have time to talk before your meal comes and the food is worth the wait. The drinks are exceptional and unique as well.

    Although the food was very well prepared and delicious, our service was sub-par. We saw the waiter only twice. The meal and table-side service was by someone else. Our main criticism was the non-stop 80s music “ambience”. Although we would have lingered over an after-dinner coffee or drink, we just couldn’t take another Madonna. We would recommend Mulino, but only after cautioning about the music.

    This place consistently provides the BEST food & drinks (selection, quality, value, and presentation) in the city! The staff is knowledgeable and professional and still down-to-earth personable. Tonight the music selection was terrific for a person who enjoys rock of the 80's but it was too loud. Can't wait to go back for another great experience soon.

    Our food was outstanding, including the roasted brussel sprouts appetizer and the side salads. Our entrees (chicken parmesan and pesto rigatoni) were great. I would have given an outstanding rating had it not been for the slow service. Our waiter was friendly and greeted us right away, but we waited quite awhile for our salads and even longer for our entrees.

    We have been eating at Mulino's ever since they opened. Consistently very good food - we think it is the best food in Lander. Tonight was a bit cold, but with the promise that the outdoor patio was "heated" we agreed to give it a try. It was! Very nice and warm - no issues at all. We shared the brisket which was very good, and a very generous portion. Even with two of use sharing, we took some home. Shared salad was also good. We always get the grilled brussels sprouts to start us off - huge portion and very good. My glass of wine by the glass was good - my partners was so-so.

    Food and drinks are by FAR the best in Lander. But expect to wait at least an hour for for your meal on a slow night. Double that on a busy night. But definitely worth it.

    Really a 4.5 would be my rating. Clam linguine was what I didn’t love. It was okay, just not much flavor. Carbonara, drinks and appetizers were very good. Our waitress should probably start writing down orders. She was very pleasant but forgot several things.

    Walked to an early dinner with my son. Serendipitous Idea. We sat on the deck bc it was open! Napkins flying with the wind and a bird couple building a nest kept us occupied and smiling. Dinner and drinks were delightful as was our waitress.

    We had so much fun, for our Anniversary. The staff and food were amazing. Very attentive and took care of every detail of our meal. So we could just sit back enjoy the ambiance and relax. Definitely recommend them.
