   The music was not fitting the character of the taverna and it was so loud. We were expecting greek music. It was very confusing to be in a Greek taverna and listening to club music.

   Food was ok, but the techno music was too loud while people were eating. They could’ve waited till later. Driving was good for the most part, but one of the servers literally threw plates down and dashed off - not good.

   If I'd known that the theatre menu was the only option at 5.15pm I'd have booked somewhere else. It's ridiculous to force people into 3 courses for £30. Plus, moussaka should be made from lamb not beef, and should be all about aubergine rather than potato. Very slow service. Will not return.

   It's convenient and very close to many other eateries in China Town and to the China Town car park. Food was excellent but the menu wasn't clear to the style of eating in Greece. We just went with ordering food as we went along rather than a couple of starters a main and a dessert. Would certainly visit again but would try and go in the summer months so we could sit on the tables outside.

    We picked here because of the location being opposite the Hippodrome. Menu selection was very good, service was very pleasant and food was very tasty and plenty of it. The pudding baklava was delicious and ended the meal just right. We would definitely return.

    I recently visited Mythos Taverna, a restaurant specializing in Greek cuisine, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal. The service was particularly noteworthy - our server Drina was incredibly polite and attentive throughout our meal. The food was the real highlight of the evening. As a Greek restaurant, Mythos Taverna did not disappoint. The flavors were rich and authentic, and the portions were generous. I particularly enjoyed the moussaka and the souvlaki, both of which were cooked to perfection. What's more, the prices at Mythos Taverna were quite reasonable, especially given the quality of the food and service. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Greek dining experience.

    Food , service and environment was fantastic! We arrived at 7pm, unfortunately around 8.30pm the music was changed to dance music and cranked up to a level where we were unable to hold a conversation or communicate with the waiter. It cut our evening short.

    The food is great. My only criticism would be that the menu is limited when ordering in what are prime time hours but the food you can order is really delicious and absolutely worth going!

    The menu was confusing. I didn't appreciate the theater menu which is smaller than the regular menu and forcing the customer to order starters,main and dessert no option to order only main or only starters. food very good ,traditional Greek very nice atmosphere but for sure don't recommend the hours of the theatre menu.

    Lovely food with generous portions. Costs do seem to have gone up, like everywhere else. Great service and candles lit for my birthday, plus staff led happy birthday song. Venue was cold I have to say. Snowy night. Other than that everything lovely.

    Absolutely live Mythos. Second time we've been in 4 weeks. Great ambience, food, staff. Our food was delicious nobody left anything. Mixed grill defo recommend. We'll be back.

    Kebabs arrived and the pork ones were not cooked in the middle. Alerted the waitress who asked me what I wanted.. just cooked pls I replied. I would add the waitress agreed that the dish wasn’t cooked. At this point she took it away. My partner finished his meal. 15 minutes later my meal came back out, by this point I had kinda gone past the point now. Then at the end they even charged the full amount for undercooked pork… not good. Shame because the place and the rest of the food was really good.

    The starter was delicious. Can recommend the hummus, tzaki and vine leaves highly. The Mousaka was heavy and stodgy not like I recall my taste of it in Greece. I enjoyed my Espa Lemonade with real lemon juice. Absolutely delicious. The pastries were nice particularly the baklava. The staff were attentive and helpful. What spoilt it though was being rushed through courses. No breather between starter, main and dessert and we were told to be out by 6.30pm. This gave us only an hour and a half to eat a huge meal. Not something I enjoyed as someone working on my gut health!

    Very tasty starter and main, but no access to an allergen menu. Emailed the venue prior to visiting - and was sent a list of suitable dishes as opposed to being able to see the dreaded ring binder or a digitised version. The only dessert available as someone who can't eat dairy was a very icy rose sorbet... gritty soap in a dish. The staff were friendly and I'd visit again though.

    Fabulous food and service. Generous portions - a good thing but be warned! Disappointed that the lunch menu wasn't offered for a 2:30pm booking, so it was more expensive than we had budgeted but still very good value for great dishes freshly cooked. Suggest the website home page & the downloaded menus are clear what is offered when.

    Loverly food,staff polite and efficient. Small criticism maybe music could be a bit more authentic Greek instead of modern club music to get the Greek taverna feel. Overall would recommend,and will be returning if possible.👍

    We ordered the banquet meal for 2, times 3 as there were 6 of us, while waiting for food we tried to have a conversation but was impossible as for some reason they had a DJ blasting out unnecessarily loud music, food was awful, lamb chop was tough and undercooked, chips were also undercooked, chicken was tasteless, rest was just ok but the shock was an excessive service charge, I know we can ask for it to be removed but they also know that when treating others we are not going to embarrass ourselves by doing so.. I won’t be going back..
