   The noise from the band was a bit overpowering and prevented conversation (despite booking in advance, we were sat very near to the band). It wasn't until after the main course that we became acclimatised to the noise level.

   Starters were awful. The Thai fish cakes are basically just round pieces of rubber and the salt and pepper ribs came in a sauce, they weren’t good. The mains however were really nice which redeemed it. The service was ok, nothing to shout about. Wouldn’t hurry back.

   Service was terrible. We waited an hour and 45 minutes for soup. Tried to get the attention of the same waitress twice to ask how long the food would be and both times she ignored us. I asked for a glass of Soda water 3 times and it never came. We had a set mean and than chicken main course was left untouched it was extremely dry. We were brought hot plates for our main course but waited that long for it they were cold when it came. When I paid the bill I told the waitress everything and simply got sorry for your experience. Won’t be going back again.

    First time at Nam Ploy, Middlebrook Food was a little more expensive than I would normally pay, but I think it was the cost of drinks that bumped it up. Food was excellent though as was the entertainment.. Will definitely return

    Emily was fab, we asked for our food to come quick because we had to be in the cinema for a certain time. She suggested getting our courses all at the same time which worked well. Food wasn’t the best Thai we’ve had but still good

    Pro:Good ambience. Plenty of parking. Con: Food not as tasty as other thai restaurants. Delay in service and wrong orders twice, despite being not busy as expected (maybe it's a one off). But was disappointed.

    Ended up ordering two dishes that were the same as changed one from the set menu to garlic chicken but wasn’t advised on ordering that they were the same and the chicken was just slightly over cooked n the main course. Other than that the set menu at £27 per head was outstanding value and quality. The starters were delicious and the dipping sauces excellent! Will be going again.

    Duck spring rolls dry and tasteless. Veg in stir fry raw. A glass of poor quality white wine. Background!! music so loud we struggled to talk. Really disappointing. Won't be coming back :-(

    We ordered 4 starters valued £9 average. Chicken Balls were not balls. They were just chicken nuggets/dippers covered with sauce. Also had condensation/water on the bowl so that indicates they been covered and microwaved Table next ordered kids nuggets meal and they were the same. Salt/Pepper ribs were tasteless and also came in a sauce so no Salt/Pepper taste. Mixed Starter for 2 was enough for 1 person. Mains were in contrast excellent however and were value for money. Too many different staff came to ask for drinks etc, rather than it be 1 server for our table. Constant interruptions. Ruined what should have been a decent evening and left very dissappointed.

    Turned up early and was seated at the bar which we were ok with, no one served us a drink. Got taken to a table 10 minutes later, still no drinks order taken. 30 minutes after being seated our drinks and food order was taken by a waiter. 25 minutes after initial order was taken our starters arrived: Luke warm battered squid which was barely edible and chicken satay that was ‘ok’. Nearly 40 minutes after our starters were cleared and asking to order drinks and being passed from pillar to post a server came to tell us there was no duck left! Partners curry came with the most pathetic attempt of salt and pepper chips, none of the rice dishes and none of the duck alternative I had to order. Ribs were extremely fatty and lacked flavour. Paid nearly £70, unfortunately won’t be returning.

    Great tasty food but think restaurant was caught out by being over busy so service was over long after second course to main course. We have had salt and pepper chips before here and this time these were clearly fries from Maccies. Minor issues over what was a great meal.

    On arrival I couldn't park in any of the 4 disabled at the front of the restaurant and had to park some distance away. My Dad has severe walking disabilities and has stage 4 cancer and uses a frame to slowly move. You can guess how angry I was to see 3 big 4×4 and a two seater convertible parked in the bays with not one displaying a disabled badge. I complained to reception on entry and they just stated it was down to Middlebrook retail park and not the restaurant. These are bays directly in front of their doors. Surely then they should be Complaining to the retail park in defence of their disabled customers. They also sat him right at the other side of the restaurant when they could see he really, really struggles to walk. No care for the disabled at this place, so certainly won't be visiting again.

    There was a distinct absence of management. Staff working hard but no supervision. 20 mins to take our drinks and food order. Starters arrived 40 minutes later. Mains took ages at which point told no pancakes for the duck. After over two hours of noisy singing, poor food and service. Left very disappointed.

    I had dined at Nam Ploy a few times when it was on Chorley Old Road and it was a delight to eat in Thai inspired surroundings in a quiet atmosphere. The new location has lost all that being raucous and like any other fast food place on Middlebrook. No Thai atmosphere which was a shame as 2 of my party had never had Thai before. I also thought the quality of the food was not as good as before

    Food was fine but service was poor. For a party of 4 on bringing the starters only one starter was brought out. It was apparant the other starters had been forgotten and the waiting staff needed to be prompted twice to bring out the 3 other starters after some time had passed. On serving the main course, the incorrect sides were brought out and again we had to raise this with the waiting staff and on serving one of the main courses (Thai green curry) the waiting staff proceeded to spill the contents into one of the duck dishes. We will not be returning and we’re disappointed given the poor service despite the restaurant being quiet at the time of dining.

    Very disappointing service - We had a booking for our table specifically for 4 people plus a high chair, once arriving we told the front desk, our waiter took us to a table but had nothing prepared and didn't provide a highchair for 10 minutes. From sitting down it took 40 minutes before the waiter took our order (only after we flagged her down to do so) at which point she was quite rude and short with us. She asked if this was for food or drinks, we said both - she sighed and said we're going to have to do food first because they are on different menus and she's already started. In fact the waiter we had (blonde woman, didn't get her name) was quite unapproachable throughout to the extent we felt uncomfortable, as if we'd done something to offend her. The food arrived before our drinks and was quite nice. By this point the previous waiter had seemingly been switched out. The waiters that took over were far nicer and after we asked for something missed off the order they provided it and offered to drop it from the bill - (name on the bill was 'Jenny - manager' who I presume was the second waiter and was very polite). Overall we were fairly disappointed, my wife felt quite unwell afterward and thinks it may have been the food. However, the main issue was the first waiter we had. I don't like posting negative reviews particularly for service as I understand it's a stressful job, but I'd be lying if I said we weren't put off from coming again. We think maybe which just caught them on a bad day, or they were stressed/ unwell so hopefully it isn't a comment on their usual work.
